Oh yeah.. if this is a demo.. then I have just died and got straight to demo heaven.. Super music. and exceptional vocals. And good use of lyrics on this brilliant high caliber electric and expressive atmospheric very appealing, varied album. From soft rock with a touch of blues, to country hillbilly to good old rocknroll music. Diversity that kicks ass and give you so much pleasure and entertainment.

Bonne continuation! Asphodel/Cassiopée

An excellent demo album from Railway and Dogs. The band has demonstrated a lot of versatility in a four track demo album. They are primarily a (soft) rock band but there are a wide variety of influences coming through in the songs. The first track; loneliness, takes a chilled out approach to rock with a slight hint of blues thrown in for good measure. Wise Cowboys with it’s banjo introduction has a very southern feel, slightly reminiscent of Lynyrd Skynyrd or any of the southern rock bands you care to mention. All That For One Book is the softest of all the songs on the album, this takes a turn towards the Indie rock scene for the source of it’s influences. Black Jack takes a slightly more traditional rock stance with a sound reminiscent of the Rolling Stones with almost a softer note of Black Sabbath, I know this sounds odd, but I honestly felt that there was a Sabbath influence here, albeit softer. Overall an excellent demo album, I hope that we see a lot more from Railway and Dogs in the coming year.
