25,000 years ago, more or less.
Exile :The group of Survivors left its devastated shelters, following the tracks of animals in the hope to find food and a safe place to rest...
Predator :At night when most of the humans are asleep, a few creatures leave the woods to drink the water of the pond. The alarm is given by the birds : Predator is approaching...
Welcome Parade :On their way in search of a new place to live, the Survivors meet another community who welcome them with a parade.
In the village :Helped by the community, the Survivors take care of their wounds, rest and feed themselves. Children play, adults tell their stories.
Hunters :The hunters of the community and a few young and healthy Survivors go hunt the auroch. After a long race they capture the animal by attracting it in a trap.They go back home victoriously.

Il y a 25.000 ans, à peu près.

Exil :Le groupe des Survivants à quitté les abris dévastés et suit les traces d'animaux dans l'espoir de trouver de la nourriture et un endroit protégé où se reposer.

Prédateur : La nuit alors que la plupart des humains dorment, quelques créatures quittent les bois pour aller s'abreuver à la mare. L'alerte est donnée pas les oiseaux : Prédateur approche...

La parade de bienvenue : Sur le chemin, en quête d'un endroit pour vivre, les Survivants rencontrent une autre communauté qui les accueille avec une parade de bienvenue.

Dans le village : Aidés par la communauté, les Survivants pansent leur plaies, se reposent et se nourrissent. Les enfants jouent, les adultes racontent leurs histoires.

Les chasseurs : Les chasseurs de la communauté et quelques jeunes Survivants en bonne santé partent chasser l'auroch. Après une longue course l'animal est capturé, attiré dans un piège.Ils rentrent chez eux, victorieux.

Just wonderful to sit here and be transported so completely to such an exotic world...trekking into a lovely but mysterious and dangerous land created so masterfully by the instrumentation and vocals. "The Hunters" is so amazing. You have painted a wonderful picture Tetra. Thank you so much. I have truly enjoyed this album.

BlockBuster Movie Score.. With Drama, Compassion, Emotions & Excitement A Bundle Inside & So Much More Besides..

An emotionally detailed encounter of a blockbuster epic type movie score..That is filled with exceptional soundscapes that are deeply meaningful and tender, let alone sentimental and drama filled. Telling the story of a group of survivors as they forged and fend for themselves after the great floods. As they track animals to safety and a place to rest. As the animals some how distinctively know where to go and be safe...Or so the humans thought the animals did. But unknown to them.A predator..an mighty auroch a creature. Came to dwell amongst them... But by night the creature. Would come and attack them and kill them and one by one. Each and every night.. As more survivors came to the promised land of safety their island..The groups of survivors came together and decided to fight for their lives again. And this time against the auroch. And one dark, quiet night. The planned an attack and took it off guard and killed it.. The villagers they decided to call themselves. Celebrated and rejoiced victor..

This music is unique and exceptionally expressive, telling a story and following the story line very nicely . . . Fascinating!

Spectacular! Well done, Tetra! I loved the story line on this album and the music that accompanied it all. "Exile" is an excellent opener, rather like a film score; and kind of a walking style of music. . . . Some of the pieces, in particular, "Predator," reminded me of the composition: "Peter and the Wolf" with different instruments becoming the actors in the story . . . I think one of my favorites was, "Welcome Parade" which had some exciting percussion as did "In the Village" which seemed to have a human heartbeat. The heartbeat of human kindness, comfort and love? Most likely . . . In regards to "Hunters" I take exception to the "Young" and healthy survivors getting to hunt . . . I want to be on that hunt too, the excitement and anticipation .. .I loved the strong beat which drove the imagery in the back of my eyes . . .. running through savannah or alternately a rain forest (?) I SURE HOPE YOU CONTINUE THIS STORY! Or go back in time and tell what happened to these Survivors to drive them out of their shelters. . . A natural disaster of some kind? Did you make the music to the story or the story to the music? I think the child in me loves the idea of a complete story line - and your music is so expressive in regards to the story . . . the mood of the music is dominant, whether in fear, or in peace, or the excitement of the hunt, the music covers the emotions very well . . . I think this album's music defines the story line exceptionally well, but it can also be used as part of a relaxing afternoon's environmental experience. I will play it to a roomful of my students, during a creative writing experience in the computer lab and see what occurs .. .. M^^W

I love a good story . . . and this is a very good one . . . the music and the ideas . . . Somehow it reminds me of "Peter and the Wolf" by Sergei Prokofiev . . . which impressed me so much as a child . .. "Encounters" is also a story told through a carefully concocted musical composition, giving distinction to each instrument, melodic phrase, percussive voice and tempo to indicate personalities or actions taken . . . Of course the text is important to set the stage and paint the backdrop . . . but the vehicle of drama is our active imagination as we listen to this talented musician's creative flow of music . . I like the brilliant energy that is indicated through this music . . it's power to instill vivid mental images of the huge grasslands and forests that were part of the environment of these people . . the emotion of their difficult lives came through the percussion and beat of these pieces . . which gave the feeling of lots of running . . . and moments of relief from stress with happy dancing . . . In particular I liked, "Hunters" and the successful pursuit of the wild bovine creature, the auroch . . . and a very happy ending to this story indeed . . .

Tetra's album, 'Encounters' is a fun to listen mix of the old and new. I classify this work as Hybrid Electronica-Classical simply because there is no escaping the Classical foundation yet upon hearing this work many will consider it TechnoPop-Trance-or even Trance Dance( Track #3. 'Welcome Parade). The manner in which Synthesizers are used to give a Fairyland-Elven mischievousness to all the selections. The album is a clever mix of Baroque(Classical) Organ Fugues updated as Synthesizer keyboard riffs which accompany delicate Flute-Sax(synth), Synth Choral, Synth Harpsichord, Strings and Digital Percussion(Heard esp in Track #1. 'Exile'). The Final Track 'Hunters', incorporates some of the most original and thrilling Digital Percussion heard on any Jamendo collection.

Tetra nous raconte en musique une vieille histoire. Compositions réjouissantes et enlevées malgré quelques dérives sonores anachroniques au regard du contexte temporel. Mais Tetra revendique sa liberté de musicien et s'exprime ainsi. joli travail. Merci pour le partage.
