There was an extreme beauty and richness that just seemed to flow and ooze from within side this album. Particularly the guys wholesome quality that was expressive and articulate and deeply hypnotic and painted images inside my minds eye. And puts feelings inside my soul.As he sang. As his voice just seemed to resonate and glow inside my head and heart. And give me such a blissful, happy, contented, wonderful entertainment of a enjoyable, laid back, chilled to perfection, homely type alternative, poppy, rock, indie album. That was poetic, visionary time well Spent checking out this delicately woven tapestry of music and good songs That just seemed to get better more and more I got into this superb soundscapes.. And heartfelt lyrics and meaningful stories and emotions just kept flowing from within straight to my heart.. Oh ps I almost forgot to say. Exceptional music that circles his voice as he sings.. Great job guys.. ie the musicians..Peaceful, gentle and tenderly seductive and homely.
Nice workmanship on these simple tunes. There seemed to be a bit of good production to get the balance of vocals to music. Many opening offerings are too much music & no vocals or the reverse. A nice balance here.
While the tunes are simplistic there is merit to them, and not just mindless blithering. My favourite is "Lake of Timeless."
Waiting to hear more...
It sounds great, the musical compositions are singular and very appealing and the vocals really mark the difference, both in style and quality, which configures a kind of uniqueness to this musical project. Very promising.
This is really very nice material and I like it a lot. I usually always listen to albums with a view to how it would sound on our internet radio stations, and this one ticks all the right boxes. We will definitely play the tracks on future programmes.
This almost brings out the old hippie in me and is reminiscent of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. A very polished performance and production indeed.
Look forward to more.
Egodays is playing straight forward and beautiful music. You can feel that it is played with heart and soul. I can not say anything wrong about that. The first song has a repeating lyric that settles in your subconsciousness and after Egodays told me why, I can honestly tell you that he did a great job.
But the production is a bit of a problem. It's like they playing in thin air. The vocals sounds flat and only the guitar sounds good. But you can't expect that everyone has a studio at home or can afford studio time
If they get some real studio time, this will be solved
Bottom line: If you can hear past the not so good production, you have a real Gemstone EP with a big promise.
Good album, the guitar sounds good and the vocals are OK. In my opinion, you can try something more complicated, like the well-known band K's Choice - you have not very much, but a little bit in common. A promising debut :)
very good music^^
