I loved "Buena Vista Social Club" as it was so vivid in my mind's eye . . . the glamorous . . . the brightly colored clothes . . . the musicians meeting together and playing their lively music - this Latin American inspired song is wonderfully performed here. It gave me a warm feeling as I listened and I wanted to join in the fun. Much of the album is very intense, dramatic and expressive with a full range of feelings and emotions . . . The music is well played and the instruments carefully chosen; everything flowed well together and overall this album is just as enjoyable an experience as all the others from this artist. These are quite good soundtrack examples, but also a very nice listen at any opportunity. I played this music into my room while I worked and it gave me lead-ins to daydreams and other mental pictures to amuse me . . . - Wolfsong

Synthesizer replicates a Full Orchestra with Strong Emphasis on Brass, Strings and Woodwinds--Plus, Synthesizer is used as a Feature Instrument in its own Right in the Classically Oriented Tracks, #6 'Dancing Trees and Track #2 'Long Live Strings'. Electronica Oriented works also contain a Classical Influence but will heard as Predominately Electronica or perhaps Techno/Futuristic Classical, Tracks #7 'Siberia', #9 'Lament' and #12 'A Rehearsal'--This work is replete with mischievous Children Vocal Effects. Synthesizer creates Symphonic and Spacey Electronic Strings as well as Human-like Choral Passages. Still Other Pieces may be perceived as Soundtrack, Track #8 'Paranormal Perceptions', #1 'Blackout'--and #11 'Futurepolis'. Listen for Dramatic and Suspenseful Elements that are reminiscent of the Music Heard in Alfred Hitchcock to Rod Searling's(Original Twilight Zone- The Outer Limits') Productions. The Compositions may be Technological or Symphonic and or Both. Mellow, Melodic and even somewhat Hypnotizing EZL with a Nod to Cuba is heard in Track #3 'Buena Vista Social Club', which captures the Spirit of the World Famous Musicians who, despite being isolated on an Island made a Planetary Musical Mark. In this work Synthesizer and Electric Guitar blend Perfectly. I would that is this is Indeed a Musical Cake then One can in Fact Have and "Eat" their Cake.
