Certainly not your light and bright or cool and ambient . . . but hot and dark . . . full of dismay and anger . . . and some brooding . . .
Much of the music was noisy and a little experimental. I would say it was full of the deep poetry of expression from the disturbed and emotional human soul in response to tragedy . .
I would agree that the music was hard to listen to . . . but it was so eloquent and as meaningful as signposts and warnings to us as we travel along our personal pathways in regards to how we effect the earth and each other . . .
Chernobyl itself should be a warning to us all . . . but in general, human beings shrug off calamity and destruction and continue on our oblivious and suicidal way due in part to our short-term memories and short-sightedness and our egotistical selfishness . . .
This album reminds us of a dark historical moment . . . it takes us by the hand and paints in vivid colors the story of what is and what will be . . . Tunguska has produced a wonderful memorial to Chernobyl . .
Stunning

We don't need to know nothing about the subject of this album, to realise that something bad happened, something really bad. Images will inevitably cross our minds and even some concern but, I believe that if it wasn't like so, it would reflect on the quality of the album. This is probably the most defiant and profound album so far, from T.E.M.S. and probably the less accessible in a general audience terms, too. Lots of different ambiances, most of them somehow dark and heavy and practically no "nice" melodic lines, are the brand image of this exquisite and strong piece of work and make of it a formidable achievement.
The cover is excellent by itself and prepares the listener on the first instance. It also helps reinforcing the musical environment as the listening takes place.
This is not an enjoyable listening, it's an intense experience.
Another great album from Tunguska Electronic Music Society... and right after Chillout Grooves vol. 6.
WOW! There are some awesome tracks in here! I would list them... but it would be absurd to re-list the entire album. o_O
A very formidable achievement. I have enjoyed this one very much.
Thank you!
Есть некоторые композиции которые и не стыдно
включить на вечере памяти ликвидаторов на чаэс например (Eugene Kush - Yellow, ABOUT - 26.04.86)
Супер-альбом в духе темы Зоны, Сталкера... Я думал, что в этой теме уже ничего нового сказать не получится, но ошибался ))) Отличная работа! Респект!!! Слушается как единое целое, на одном дыхании. В плейлист фарева ;))
Good music..
To me the only thing you need to know its simply that it is by The "Tunguska Electronic Music Society" and its about Chernobyl. That says it all.
As well as being a extremely High caliber, intelligent, factual documentary style movie score. That is compelling, disturbing and very emotional to say the least. As well as being an very significant historical, factual moment in life that affect mankind and humanity in general. And those particular people in general. That will have you gripping to your chair, emotional and shocked, drained and Stunned.
Commendable piece of music. A tribute and respectful insight at that. To what those people suffered and the reasons why.
Превосходно! Замечательная компиляция!
Ciekawa muzyka - choć w nie moim stylu! Pozdrawiam
