Continua la mia ricerca sul sound delle chitarre. "Goodbye My Friend" è il saluto allegorico a un amico, allegorico perchè in realtà stò salutando me stesso o quello che ero io fino a un anno fa. Vedo allontanarsi il mio "vecchio" io e sto provando lo stesso dispiacere che si prova quando si saluta per sempre un caro amico che se ne va. In effetti ha un fondo malinconico il titolo di questo brano ma rappresenta esattamente il cambiamento che sta avvenendo nella mia vita in questo periodo, non per una mia scelta ma per i mutamenti fisici derivati dalla perdita della laringe e della voce. So di essere forte e che la musica è una grande arma di difesa contro la depressione, ma la mia non è depressione è solo una triste presa di coscienza relativa al fatto che non sono più quello di prima e che, anche se preferivo com'ero prima, non potrò mai più tornare ad esserlo. Non sarò mai più come prima, ma resta la musica, qualunque cosa accada la musica non la lascerò mai! Vi auguro un Felicissimo 2011! Buon ascolto e Buona musica a tutti! Pieresis

A good melancholic, reflective reminds of ones self. That is in the past, but never to be forgotten. As you grow stronger, with time and years. You renew and regrow and build yourself up ones more.. A great guitar track, that has a real heart and a solid sincere soul.That is deep,moving and meaningful beautiful and expressed to perfection. On this versatile,directional,uplifting and free spirited practical solo guitar track with good steady hypnotic drum beats,l to flow in-sync with his playing..
