"Mother dear" ist ja wohl echt perfekt! Wer so in die Richtung Pink Floyd tendiert, dürfte bei diesem Album voll auf seine Kosten kommen. Klasse Stimme zu weicher Musik. Eine Jamendo-Perle.

Ja, ein tolles album! Auf einen Lieblingstitel möchte ich mich noch nicht festlegen - aber auf Anhieb gefallen mir sowohl die Pink Floyd- als auch die (für meinen Geschmack) Ultravox Anleihen. Hier wird in jedem Song eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre verbreitet. Produktions-technisch gibt es ein paar sehr gelungene Spielereien, die ma so erst mal hinkriegen muß. Alles in allem eine sehr gelungene Mischung und wirklich schöne Musik!

A pleasure download this so nice album, of high level and very enjoyable... ``Long Grass`` it`s great for me, very cool, very nice vocal melody and ambient, ``Plastic Starfish`` is another great song here with the nice soft voices for the style, coloring, relaxing and original rhythm. ``Sixteen Words`` it`s very emotional, great pop pianos. ``Hot Summer Days`` also liked me a lot, the rocker guitars, voice and synthes... I`ve loved the main vocal melody of ``Sunday School`` and also the subtle piano, ``What Do You See In Me`` it`s maybe my favorite with the original sounds, the voice, drums... changes of climes, really great. Nur in einer Sache muss ich Tanja Sonnenjagd wiedersprechen: Nicht nur "Mother dear" ist perfekt. Mike Gregoire (bloc sonic-Gründer) verglich ihn mit "Pink Floyd or Roger Waters, Tears For Fears or some current indie-artist that you may dig." Mich persönlich überkommen eher solche Assoziationen: sanft melancholisches Songwritertum; fließende perlende Sounds, manchmal ätherisch gemixt, piano- und (Synth-)streichergebettete Lieder, schwedischer Neu-Pop, britische Selbstverständlichkeit ... Tatsächlich erinnert er mich sehr an das neue skandinavische Pop-Verständnis (mit britischen Wurzeln: - Cocteau Twins z.B.). Dazu passt, dass seine Album zuerst auf bloc sonic erschien, CC-Label von der Westküste der USA, die z.B. die Schweden Garmisch veröffentlichen. Dort sind auch neben dem Album 2 weitere EPs/Maxis in 320kb mp3 und als flac downloadbar. Webadresse im Kommentar ...

Was soll man nach Geri's Kommentar eigentlich noch sagen? Das Album hat einfach Klasse von vorn bis hinten. Der immer wieder leise durchklingende Touch von Pink Floyd, manchmal auch von Ultravox nimmt nichts von der Eigenständigkeit des Künstlers. Selten so ein starkes Indie-Album gehört und würde mich freuen mehr von Euch zu hören! Keep on drivin'

A great album with a great male singers voice. That was not overbearing,or in your face..But just had that delightful amount of passion, interest and meaningful sincerity,and simply pleasure, to keep me enjoying myself, from start till end. On this great chilled and wonderful, laid back,calm and smooth, soul filled day dreamy,at that was a mixture of pop,rock-ish and electronic,drumnbass,added to it that was captivating and sublime to my ears and soul. The more into this, the more meditative and more therapeutic. A affect, it had on me. To where I just could and did, drift off into a wonderful blessed sleep.
