I always was fascinated by classical music because it engages my deeper feelings. Mass, requiems are even more influencing because they attempt to touch the untouchable. In 21st century people forget about sacrum but music has great power and aids us when we need it.
Although this work is influenced by tradition, it is not an attempt which would fully harmonize with a roman-catholic mass pattern. This is not only because my composing skills are limited, but also because the design pattern varies due to the fact that this genre has evolved greatly throughout history.
I tried to reproduce orchestral and choir sounds truly enough. I know soloists voices sound unnatural between notes, but decided to carry on since nothing could be done with it in a limited time I had.
I hope this will be enjoyable for you, I'm looking forward seeing your opinions.

Ich mag Klassik! Mama hat früher immer den Klassiksender laufen lassen, weil Klein-Geri dabei so herrrlich geschlafen hat und sie dann ungestört einkaufen konnte. Pickel bekam ich meist wenn Oper und Operette kam - dann musste ich flüchten und die Liebe zu meiner Mutter wurde schwer erschüttert.
Das hier ist kein Bach, Mozart etc. sondern Neo-Klassik im Sinne eines Breitwand-Soundtracks. Stimmungsvoll! Der Titel Requiem ist passgenau. Das Ganze klingt wie mit einem riesigen Orchester aufgenommen, dazu ein Chor, Gesangs-Solisten. Wie hat er das gemacht?
