Its a instrumental gothic rock. Its my first single that use a 80% live recording. Squencer just on drum and some synth. So its be my most natural & progressive song. Its more like a bass and guitar oriented song. Bass is insprired by some triphop and guitar is inspired from 90's alternative rock that more use a single string strumming and minor chord. Still use a choir, string, chorus piano and organ to give a gothic taste.

Album content is about my personal feeling about someone that really really changed my life.

Under the frozen rain, waiting for a rainbow is my first song that use a electro accoustic guitar as rhythm. Its about my feeling to waiting for someone that really special in my life. Its had a sad, peaceful, relaxing but also going temramental and little bit like hurt on reff section. Its use a minor chord with distortion effect that produce a buzzy sound :D I like that point, sound like a hard rain that i feel :D

Rotten Leaves Its about my depressive feeling about my hope that never come true. Its use a jazzy drum beat and heavy reverb guitar melody. Also use a slapbass but I'm not sure with recording quality :D Its a dark song that drawn my depression.

OK its a song about negative feeling. Maybe I'm a good to make a sad & dark music. Honestly I can't make positive song because I can't get any inspiration to make a song when I'm happy.

I threw my sadness to be a song and I hope this song make you forget your sadness too.

God Bless You All

The meaning and beauty of sorrow

Vermillia is one of those one-of-a-kind artists who pursue their own vision regardless of genres and classifications. A musical as well as visual concept - concise collections of intensely evocative instrumentals, with very pretty hand drawn covers that depict anime style female figures and faces. "Where there is Sorrow, there is holy ground", Oscar Wilde writes in De Profundis. "Some day people will realise what that means. They will know nothing of life till they do". As the composer himself admits, Vermillia's music is inspired by sadness, by the darkness that nestles in the human soul; and (although this may appear contradictory at first sight) the vivid shades of red and purple on his album covers somehow intensify the feeling, guiding the listener to visualise the passion itself of this sadness, the profundity of sorrow and grief. The sound has greatly evolved and improved in quality compared to Vermillia's previous albums: it has become ample, crisp and assured, even more atmospheric and charged with emotions. A lush perfume in a small elegant bottle, this new single is highly promising for the artist's quest and development - and in spite of its melancholic disposition, a true pleasure to listen to.

Atmosphère enveloppante, vagues de lassitude reposante, abandon et clair obscur. Pluie de sonorités éplorées se diluant dans les ombres noires. Très belles atmosphères.

Sad and sombre, realistic and meaningful, woeful and heavy. With a spark of light, at the end of the tunnel so to speak..On this powerful and poignant. articulate very well expressed and magical and mystical, ethereal tracks.

live recording give a really different thing from other vermillia music. Its remind me to a silent hill OST by akira yamaoka but also remind me to band named london after midnight because the lot of guitar. Its become not too unique like a vermillia early album. something missing...

First I have to say that this album has the best art work of any of the Vermillia albums. The sound is great, I love the guitar. The drums are well done. It is a bit of chaos working perfectly together. My only complaint is that the album has only 2 songs.

comme d'habitude, tu a fait un très bon travail. J'ai trouvé les deux titres un peu noir, tout comme la pochette;peut-être dus à ton esprit du moment. Merci à toi pour le partage et courage pour la suite.A+

I loved the acoustic guitars in the particular music of this artist, and that first song liked me a bit more than second... But the second, it`s more catching and I loved that bass style. Cheers!
