Jeszcze trochę wprawy i więcej czasu spędzonego nad utworami i będzie dobrze...
The first two tracks of this album combines an acoustic guitar in the right ear and an effects-laden, slightly electric guitar in the left, with sound effects being panned centrally. Jakub Tuta is very good at choosing good alternating chord patterns, though for me it sometimes gets repetitive. The use of samples really helps to keep the tracks interesting.
Nice minimal melancholic acoustic-electric music. Great for hanging out and reading or late night listening. The mix is fine, contrary to the other reviews, this isn't supposed to be Van Halen guys. Its Lo fi but in a sincere way. 4 track goodies, I love it.
Jakub is a talented musician, his tunes are very atmospheric and this album would be great if not for the mix. Or the lack of. Both channels contain completely different tracks - you have a melody in one ear and an accompaniment in the other. Maybe it can be listened on speakers but on headphones it's a real pain. It's frustrating and disturbing. It's definitely not something one could call "stereo" - "double mono" would better describe the experience. So the only way to listen to it without grinding one's teeth, would be to downmix it to mono.
I think Jakub should consider mixing this album properly and updating the tunes on Jamendo. These are good songs and it's a pity one cannot listen to them with pleasure.
A very nice album to the compositions of the first three songs. They are very lively and sensitive. The mixing is done so strange and it develops individual personalities of the left and right ears. But this seemed to me interesting. The song mama I found wonderful!
