The Mar-Keys Sound Hits Jamendo!

What refreshing bit of old school organ work added with the newer sounds. It's like the Mar-Keys updated themselves! Simple in its construction, but that's what makes it so good! Not a lot of stellar sound effects or syn-drums, just good ol' rock. Love the easy stroll for the bass player. Keeps the carpal tunnels at bay ;^D

Beautifully Bouncing, Punching and Thumping

A smooth rhythmic Blues bass riff warmed the start of the piece as it followed a steady heart beating percussion. The continuing hypnotic rhythm carried the movement forward to include the synthesized melodic input. the bouncing force of the pace subsided somewhat in the third minute to a more relaxed pace with an equally bouncy, but softer rhythm. The march through various mid-paced phrases built soothing themes that eventually moved back to that beautifully executed thumping rhythm enforced theme which played out to the end.
