L'album est d'un abord facile, presque anodin, tant l'écoute parait évidente, transparente. Il en faut pourtant plusieurs pour en prendre toute la mesure. les plages sont superbes, très équilibrées dans leurs agencements, aériennes, ouvertes. J'y retrouve le sens aigu de spisfire pour les compositions épurées. L'atmosphère est apaisante et cependant tonique, fluide mais étudiée dans ses moindres détails, idéale pour garder l'esprit en éveil. Les sons sont impeccablement mixés (les samples de Shakuhachi sont splendides), avec un raffinement prononcé, magnifié par les sonorité orientales.

'ASIAN TRIP feat.Pierromix', is a 5 track, Instrumental-Trance-New Age Ambient, Crossover album. The reference to the Bering Strait may not seem to make sense but once the Literal Connection is understood it will become very clear. Simply stated--North American Indians are thought to have descended from Asians who walked from Asiatic Ural Region of Russian across a Frozen Body of water--The Bering Strait-- into Modern Alaska and in doing so became the direct Forefathers to the Eskimo/Inuit and eventually moving farther South-- Forming various Indian Tribes. Contained in this album is a Musical Mirror of the above. Track #1. 'Asian Trip(W/Pierrormix)', starts with a Strong Synth Keyboard(not a Wind Sound Effect but a Wind-like Feeling is produced) w/semi atmospheric sound effects and, almost imperceptibly, various Flute Voices engage with a Tribal Drum Cadence as Harmony. The Vibe is American Indian which gradually transforms into a more Electronic Sound that brings the Asiatic Element in the song's latter stages. Tribal Drums give away to more of a Dance Club Beat and a Japanese Koto begins to emerge from the still Dominant Woodwind Sound. Track #2. 'Glow', is a very Contemporary Electronica Ambient track. Synth Strings, Synthesizer--Moog Style and Digital Percussion give the song a "Windham Hill or Hearts of Space" Vibe. Futuristic, Sleek, Shiny and almost Alien is how this composition comes across. Make no mistake. It is a Power Track which starts Tranquilly and Ends like a Pulse from a laser Cannon. Track #3. 'Below the Abyss"Ambient"', is as Futuristic as Track #2 but in a much Slower almost Sinister Fashion. Minor Chords fill this brief song Beginning to End. Track #4. 'MYST', is another American Indian Tribal-esque song. Solo Flute, Synth Drums but in a Traditional Tribal Candace with Synth keyboard creating "Strange-Sub Sounds" makes for a Mysterious and Even Scary piece. Track #5. 'AsianTrip With Pierromix "Short", has the same Melody-Harmony-Sound of Track #1 and as described in its title is a Short Alternate Version. This is a Well Done Work of Mood Inducing Rhythms. In my opinion the Overall Sound is More American Indian than Asian but each hears music differently and this is album is a Superior Effort regardless of its Cultural Background.

Son algunas de las características de este más que interesante trabajo, donde se recrea un buen ambiente con sonidos envolventes, toques étnicos, así como una perfecta mezcla de sintetizadores melódicos y secuenciación. Superbes sonorités enveloppées dans des décors qui dans certains morceaux, nous revèlent nos jardins secrets intérieurs et dans d'autres, nous font planer au-delà de la stratosphere. La qualité sonore, les mixages et les compositions épurées sont de qualité profesionnelle ainsi que la poésie qui s'en dégage. Je qualifierais cet album de "méditation dynamique" réjouissante et paisible à la fois.
