This whole album. Make me think of a young boy. Growing up in a broken and twist, unloved, and uncared for home as a child. And then as a adult. Questioning and looking for answers. As to why his family members. Like particularly his very own father. Treated him. The way.. he did. By hurting, and making him sad. and to really make him cry and feel so bad. And so alone and unwanted and abandoned.
Most of, or all of each and every single day of his young, years as a child, then teenager and young adult years.
Until he was old enough. To walk out that door. And leave that bad, past behind.
And then years later. He gets a phone call. To say his father is dying. And he visits him at the hospital bedside.and asks him.Why he hated and abused him so much. And why he could not simply love him. For who he was..As he was his son..And he just wanted him to acknowledge him and say he was his son..But more so he was sorry for being such a bad parent..And was proud of him know. For the man he has grown into A strong, well adjusted, proud and passion. Sensitive and kind human being. Who treats his child different and respects them and loves them truly without reservations or ill feelings..
Enjoy your time..Is like a lament on saying just try to be happy, even thou.Bad times are around you. And you can not physically change him, or them, at present. But a time while come. When you are stronger and have the strength to over come them all.. The bad times. and sail into the good times forever. so just enjoy your time. The best you can. At present..and the inner strength and faith will guild you.And give you the courage.
Yesterday I though I had a solution. Is about the young boy.Who kept on running away. Time and time again. But the solutions never came and got fixed. And the love and true meaning of being cared for or just that simple love from his father..Never came..The hurt, the sorrow, the upset. he felt inside. Kept on coming. The promise of a new day..A new start a new hope. A new way.. Never came..And it broke him inside. Each and every time. He was rebuffed, pushed away. or rejected..
Then he goes through all the stages of how his fathers treatment has affect and played on his mind. And how he still tortures and tries to explain to himself. What he was that way with him.Was it his fault, he was the way he was, and the reasons, as to why his father treated him that way. Unloved, uncared for. unwanted and abused.
But the reality and truth of it all. His father was broken. And just could not give him what he needed. As he had to be fixed first before. He could give to his..
Sometimes in this world. People just should not have children. As they themselves are just not up to the job. Of loving or carrying or giving compassion or understandability towards others. No matter who they are.
Being broken. Can be passed down the lines..From one member to another.. And the cycle of bad repeating the bad will and might carry on. As no one has learnt to break the pattern of bad things happening.
the concept ist good. the musik is good too. but the voice(s) is(are) NOT ok. he(they) CANNOT sing...sorry.
its hard but its true
A l'ancienne, quoi !
'Soul Colors', is a 14 track, Pop-Rock, album.
A mixture of Acoustic and Electric Guitar with Strong but Warm Vocals comprised of Male and Female Singers provide Articulate lyrics against a setting that is neither heavily Pop or Rock but a comfortable Fusion.
Track #5. 'Child Like A Hero,', A somewhat Symphonic-Rock/Pop Sound resonates from the Peel of Non-Religious Bell and Synth Violin that Accompany A Male Pop Chorus( Not Chorus in the Strict Sense but multiple Male Voices). The Style of Singing is vaguely similar to the Beetles and other Male Vocal Bands of the 1960s but the Orchestration is Contemporary--Synth Strings, Electric Guitar and Percussion.
Track #14. 'Soul Colors', Starts Mellow with a FM Radio Style Adult Contemporary Synth Keyboard and a Chorus of Female and Male Voices but a Male Lead takes over in short order.
The Song has A Mellow but Catchy Pop Sound that is Soothing, Relaxing and simply Enjoyable to "Get Lost" in.
The Album as a Whole comes across in a similar fashion as these two tracks which is to say Amiable and Friendly.

"This album is full of the colors of childhood . . .
the drama and the heartache . ..
a message from tiny hearts that overflow with love,
and the desire to be loved . . . to be noticed and cared for . . .
more than anything a desire to be nurtured and accepted
for themselves . . .
Many of these songs resonated with my own truths and experiences
. . . but while the adult can look up and remember hope
a child is full of . . . hope
and expectations of bigger and better things . . .
and always the love of a child responds so well to
finding that one adult open to their needs . . .
an adult who has experienced the life of a child . . . "
