This album is a very satisfying, well rounded, like a complete night at the jazz club . . . sipping drinks with your friends and eyeing the good looking guys at the bar . . . and that jazz . . . every now and then we fall silent and are just moved by the talent these three artists produce for our listening pleasure . . . we daydream as we are moved by the stories the music tells . . . and we find ourselves at home later in the dark of the night hearing the echoes of a lilting piano, the whisking of the brush drum and the muttering of the contrabass . . . and we fall asleep with a smile on our face. . .

Ein klassisches Jazztrio (Klavier, Kontrabass, Schlagzeug) produzieren abwechslungsreichen, musikalisch sehr ausgewogenen und entspannten klassischen Jazz. Tolle Musiker, tolle Musik, tolle Aufnahme ... für die Jazzfans und -sympathisanten ein Muss!

this music reminds me of the album that our guitarist of the jazz band i played in as a drummer recorded at verona a couple of years ago. a slightly different lineup, also a trio and the same kind of free style jamming as this recording. especially "the jody grind" is a favorite of mine. so if you guys by chance visit groningen, please do a session at our jazz club.

To cherish, hold close and simply enjoy.. Made me think of glorious sun rises..And children laughing and playing. And young couples hand in hands kiss as they walk in the park in a Sunday afternoon.And a young family in the park also with their faithful loyal dog.. Having fun and good time together..And and an old couple over 70 years married.. Still in love and young at heart. Listening to this album. Playing on their old stereo unit. In their home.They bought when they where 20 and 21years of age..All those long years ago..
