"Left Up There" is a 5-track-EP, themed all around life in space, starting up with another soundtrack-ish piece of mine which lends the name for the whole EP: "Left Up There". Somehow I had the following images in my head while making the EP...
 

"Imagine this one guy, being stuck in outer space after that terrible accident, floating all alone through time and space, thousands of miles above earth, drifting further and further into the dark, with all hope leaving to get back to the people he cares for dearly.
With his last oxygen running slowly through his lungs, and his mind starting to fade away, he tries to setup two last transmissions, crying out for a little bit of something to keep his faith and to give back hope at all. But silence....
And in his last seconds the power of the very first sunrays of the rising sun hits him with full force, for a last time fills his cold body with warmth and holds him back for just some last seconds from that eternal dream he was about to enter...and after a last transmission he finally fades away, taking all the beauty he ever encountered in his life with him...with a smile on his lips and tears in his eyes..."
 

...and so, time is turning backwards to where things started, the scene is changing when the first notes on "Ordinary Anomalies" kick in, as our astronaut begins his journey some weeks ago, anxiously setting off to space with short yet steady steps...
 

..."Welcome Explorers"...I've been working on this tune a while ago, and decided to finally finish it and somehow it was quite made for this EP...
 

..."Plasma" is a rather dark and minimalistic piece, for whenever time allows to think over being up there all alone...
 

...and finally "Turbulences" which shows our guy breaking off of his melancholy, cruising around at full speed, having fun...but in the end...well...his ship gets lost while he can escape, floating alone through space...left up there.
