In front of an old horror movie..to which is still playing on my tvscreen. I wake up and stretch and feel my eyes open wide.. and the horror music...is playing yet ones more...inside my ears.. I switch it off..And get a cup of tea...and then I come back ...and sit.. and sip.. on my tea...and the cat comes in... and joins me.. on my lap.. I drift off.. into a day dream...where I am young again..and haunted by my dreams..as I sleep.. and I picture.. this young native American woman. dressed in war paint and native clothes come towards me...she holds her hands out towards me and beckons me ...to come and hold her soft hands.. and as I do.. I feel the love and beauty that she cherishes and holds deep within her native and pure..uplifting and sentimental heart.. touch mine..and I wake up...and i am old again.. sitting in my chair in front of my tv screen again. annoyed and angry and bitter twisted aggrieved... because you took her away from me again... as only in my dreams.. do I see her.. come alive for me.. for me alone...love..sentimental and soft hearted old fool...I am... charming..sweet and loving.. meaningful and like a magic spell was casted over me..I was in love again..very happy. elated and whole again..as I shut the door and go to bed...

This is melodic, anthemic postrock. Along with the usual distorted guitars and drums, a dominant role is given to acoustic piano in these pieces. The careful attention paid to the levels at which the different instruments are mixed is the best thing about this music; it's simply possible to _hear_ so much in it! This release is also available in FLAC format from the band's website; get it from there if you want the highest quality. The only reason I give it a 9 instead of a 10 is because every song falls into the same tempo range and is certainly in 4/4 -- that is, every piece is an "anthem". But the fix for that is simply to mix these brilliant tunes up with other sorts of music in your playlists.

Du post rock plutôt bien fichu, aux sonorités très originales, qui change un peu ce qu'on a l'habitude d'entendre. Le mélange piano / guitare est particulièrement bien réussi.
