Oh yes! Mit Masquerade haben The Nuri die Messlatte schon gefährlich hoch gelegt. Und jetzt kommt Music Box und verdoppelt einfach mal. Von vorne bis hinten ein einziger Ohrgasmus. Treibende, fast schon Trance-artige Clean-Gitarren-Wiederholungen einer Melodie wechseln mit harten Refrains und genialen, meist progressiven Beats ab. Dabei klingt alles trotz der Komplexität melodiös und leicht verdaulich. Die Songs gehen sofort in's Ohr und haben dennoch Langzeitwirkung. Am genialsten ist für mich die unglaubliche Kombi aus ruhigen, leisen und dennoch harten, flotten Songs. Mal wieder funktioniert der Kontrast zwischen softer/harter Instrumentierung und der Zuckerstimme wunderbar. Fast immer präsent, und da könnte ich auf die Knie fallen, ist eine emotionale Steigerung die meist mehrmals im Song aufgebaut wird, Spannung ohne Ende erzeugt und immer wunderbar in einer kleinen oder größeren Explosion aufgelöst wird. Dabei ist das Album abwechslungsreich, einfallsreich, Melodie und gleichzeitig Rhythmus betont und noch so viel mehr. Die perfekte Präsentation und gute Sound-Qualität macht ein geniales Album zum Denkmal. Oh wie ist das geil. Dicken Megadank an The Nuri für diese Veröffentlichung. Gibt es einen besseren Beweis dafür wie genial freie Musik sein kann? Ich liebe euch. Ihr seit meine Helden des Tages!

I shut... the hell up....and simply... listened... and take in all... the beauty and profoundness and sheer tenderness. sensitivity and projections..of awe and sheer wonder... that is stored and give out...in the bucket loads.. in this epic and triumphantly done.. and gloriously compelling. driven and energetic... and sincere album..Of art work... that is also visionary and action packed and tender and touching and emotional at that... filled like a blockbuster music script.. Wow.. I am in total awe...and gob-smacked...like a movie inside my minds eye..and brain..and ears.... I was held by the detail..compositions. sound quality and her amazing majestic..sweet and innocent..pure and clear..great womanly..superior voice.. everything just fitted... perfectly like a great big jigsaw...inside my head and heart.. Simply Wow.......

A good quality female lyric music sometimes dramatical and passioned in combination with powerful distorted guitars, good rock drums, and a bit dark melodies but all full of any love kind. "Black cloth" is a good break! Very nice job.

There is alot of music available and it takes time for the true music lover to sort through what is good and what is mediocre if that. Normally within the first 10 to 20 seconds the music must grab my attention and hold it. The Music Box compilation by The Nuri grabbed and held my attention from the start. This is one of the best compilations of music I have heard in a long time. These musicians are very talented. They have a different and fresh taste that sets them apart from the mainstream but still offer music that can be appreciated by rockers alike. Keep bringing the great tunes!
