Some slashing instrumental blues with a guitar that rocks the hell out of it !

In general, we are in presence of a strong album, that flows in a good rhythm with a sharp and overpowering guitar on the lead. Counts also with a few killer ballads, very seductive and practically unavoidable, which, conveys some emotional balance to the general lively and somewhat wild sonority. The overall sound, benefits of a good production and is extremely attractive. The compositions, have an excellent basis of influence, delivers us the soul of the blues and captivate immediately. It should be plainly heard without fear... and whenever possible, loud and clear.

There's a funny thing about blues music to me. Most blues artist keep the same chord progression in their songs, although most people add their own flair to the 4 part classic blues progression. Dickey F, not only adds his own flair to it, but adds bits of other genres of it. There's a bit of hard rock, jazz, and swing to it. Something that I don't get to see enough of. From the playful upbeat of Crazy Train, to the mellowness of Black and White Stripes, to the warm riffs of Snake Skin Blues. This is a great set of melodies to chill out to.
