Live @ Nublu is the second collaboration of wind synthesist/remixer Peter Dragotta and guitarist Andres Marino under the name pharmacopia. The newly expanded duo continues where their previous album “Hulu Static and Salad” left off with their organic funk/blues oriented Accidental Groove Explorations. Peter demonstrates his remixing sensibilities with a program he developed in Art Wonk. Everything is improvised, including all the beats, basslines, synths and keys. No loops or pre-recorded material were used.

Together on this set Peter and Andres are heavily influenced by the high energy vibe Ornette Coleman got playing with James Blood Ulmer. This album will have you bouncing your head.
