Un percorso ben articolato, con un attonito inizio nei primi due episodi, scanditi con affascinante e spaziosa chiarezza/lentezza. [Qua te lo azzardo io un fil rouge assurdo, mi è venuto in mente il grande Roberto Murolo....fa il paio con Aldrin-Orme? :-)] Più canonico il seguito con i due tradizionali, dove la materia sonora si infittisce quanto basta, prologo al finale con un bell'ultimo minuto e 20" di rumore quasi puro con i tocchi di campana che evocano l'abbandono della nave. Consigliatissima la visione dei filmati, che aggiungono intensità al tutto e permettono agli appassionati delle sei corde di rosicare per le due bellissime chitarre usate ;-) PS: in Police dog blues c'è in sottofondo una voce di bimbo, o devo andare dall'otorino?

Superbement bien joué, l'ambiance sonore de fond (oiseaux, voix...) est trés bien placée, tout cela m'a fait voyager. Merci pour la recommandation.

I find here the same mood as in the new music given to "Jazz friends 2012". I enjoy the feeling, the sound, the 'non-pro' approach, the intimacy with the guitarist, the free and open mind spirit. Great. Please carry on this way (and would be great if you add the harmonica the next time)

Fumo asfissiante di un mezzo toscano, odori e rumori di vita quotidiana, e una mosca che si è messa li proprio dove doveva stare. Se questi blues sono bellissimi da ascoltare, diventano un capolavoro da vedere. Neanche il più consumato regista avrebbe potuto rendere meglio l'atmosfera. Non mi azzardo neanche a dire qualche cosa di tecnico, Cluedo ha fatto una recensione impeccabile che mi trova pienamente d'accordo, compreso il rosico sulle chitarre. Io da profana di musica posso solo aggiungere. Bello! Tutto. Mi piace ;-) Altamente e caldamente consigliabile. Sia l'album e ancor più i video.

Finger pickin' blues with a soft melancholic underbelly and tones that reach a state of high keening.As this small album unfolds a beautiful intense sorrow emerges..a cold soulful plaintive cry . Highly recommended .

'Toscano-Mojo', is a five track, Instrumental, Blues album. Just as there are Variations of Rock, Classical, Country and so forth--Blues are Absolutely NOT an Exception to the Rule. This Collections features a 100% Acoustic--Hill/Mountain Country Style as opposed to the More "Soulful" Mississippi Delta or Memphis Beal Streets(Blues-Rock-ish) Varieties; think Jamendo Artists--Capitan Troner and Freeky Cleen Dickey who perform with such Gusto. Musically, Guitar creates Simple( as in Uncomplicated), Flawlessly Authentic and Poignant Melodies. Additionally, Non-Blues Fans might find this Collection a excellent means to begin to appreciate the Genre.
