When I got the private message announcing two new albums from Celestial Aeon Project, I was very excited to see what Matti had up his sleeve this time. I wasn't disappointed! Fall of Ragnaros was a little repetitive, but when I heard the first track of World in Flames I knew this album would be special. Matti takes you on a trip through a range of emotions and textures. Each track is unique, but you'll still know you're listening to Celestial Aeon Project because each has that special touch, that way of bringing ideas across. You'll hear at least one familiar theme as well... just listen to the end of It's Personal, for instance :) Some of the rock/jazz influences from albums like Roomful of Emptiness make it into this predominantly orchestral soundtrack as well. Just listen to Rage and Driving the Top Down. Matti continues to share his music with the world, with you and me. How can we thank him enough? Thanks, Matti!
