I keep forgetting to write a description:

A mixture of, well, a mixture. It's the way I think. I also see 'movies' in my head as I compose which is why they come across as soundtracks and filmmusic.

I'll try to make them longer--but I like sort films.  ;)

Brilliantly Fun . . . Outrageously Marvelous

I love elephants and so will listen to anything elephant . . . GingerTom's music tickles me . .. it makes me giggle . . and he seems to be having so much fun making it . . . so I want to encourage him to continue . .. and because its a never ending surprise . . . as I listen I wonder . .. what comes next as the music turns . . . and yet the changes in the music are never harsh or dark but seem to flow by like a brilliant parade . .. where elephants are involved . . . and various characters waltzing . . . so I want to join that sparkling parade . . the hoopla, the drama, the floats and the bands . . I want to join that parade . . . and dance with the elephants . . to the music

"At The Elephants' Ball" is full of entertaining and unanticipated delights and very reminiscent of the exotica/lounge genre of the great and versatile Les Baxter & Co (cheesecake cover excepted ).. The track "Waltz" contains languid and sweeping strings which some funky orchestra would be proud of producing. This is sublime stuff, great cocktail music and fabulous fun with it's warm mellifluous guitar sounds and noodling keyboards. The album comes together like a smoothly blended martini and takes us,the listeners, almost into a cinematic visual realm. Fine, fine, fine stuff !!!!

I'll be a monkey, if this isn't probably one of the most amazing and pleasantly surprising short musical works, that I've listened since a while. And it scrambles my imagination in such a way that, after listening for about ten times by now, I still don't know how to classify it or what to say besides that it keeps on being surprising... moreover, considering that it's really a very short work and the amount of changes, both in styles, rhythm and sound, are so daring as numerous. And since it's a real pleasure, it means that in the middle of all that, something was indeed achieved. What a ball... great indeed, very fun and super classy.

I´m slighty confused about the tagging under "pop" here. This is soundtrack,film-music to me. But it´s not much important. The 6 tracks are diversidied, interesting and the quality is very good. Sadly some tracks are lil short. My fav : N° 3 "Sleeping beauty". Good work U.L.I.
