This happens to me more than I like to say . . . but when I write a review and then the album is taken away I start getting nervous . . . and sad in this case because. . . I loved this album when I first heard it this morning and then it disappeared and here it is again . . and I still love it . .. Its perfect jazziness . .. is beautiful . . . and moving. I especially loved the "guitar-piano-swing" with the bass which added such accents and fullness to the piece . . . and again . . . "free-noxe" is so moving I sit speechless and stunned . . .as I said before . .. that one captivates my complete attention . . . and my lips move without trying . . . "Oh WOW!" AND the guitar work on "sax-flade" and the sax . . oh my heart just melted . . . Please leave your album here and share more of your jazzy goodness? I intend to share this with my friends on FB . . . OK? Where did you come from with this huge talent? You have a really big fan in me and I intend to keep my ears open for more of your albums . . thank you for sharing . . . thank you thank you thank you . . . edit: the stupendous sounds on "break-in" were so unbelievably good and mellow and played so nicely with my ears. . . . edit edit: ok . .with headphones I am even more blown away at the sound quality . . . it could not get any better . . . I recommend listening to this with headphones at least the first time to feel that music in the pit of your stomach . . . and be amazed . . .

Cet album est superbe du début à la fin : les styles jazzy mélangés aux styles plus mélodiques ou electros forment un tout intelligent relevant d' un savoir-faire indéniable. Inspiré, réfléchi, inventif, surprenant, cohérent, rafiné,captivant et émouvant parfois. A partager sans modération!

The first impression is... simply impressive. Starting with the sound quality, which we end accepting very naturally and practically right away. However, what is most impressive here, is the daring harmony that somehow was achieved, even if within a large blend of other different musical identities, gathered around and along, of a solid, yet not too much rigid basis, of jazz. In that sense, the tracks may, occasionally, seem somewhat distinctive or disparate...but, it's merely a consequence of all the different exquisite... sometimes strong... aromas added, which require necessarily a more attentive listening, in order to generate a truthful pleasure, in accordance with the undeniable stamp of quality that comes attached.

Erst mal sorry für die folgende harsche Kritik. Aber nach den vielen positiven Kommentaren war ich nach dem Durchhören des Albums dermassen entäuscht... Hier meine Eindrücke: Die trance/ambient-liken Tracks sind noch schön zu hören. Dasselbe gilt noch für die Latin-style Tracks. Was aber gar nicht geht sind die Percussions. Hier fehlt jeder Funke Leben. Das Ganze ist eine seelenlose Aneinanderreihung von Schlagzeugklängen. Beispiele: Bei dem Stück "swing up" dachte ich am Anfang noch, na Bitte, geht doch. Nur erlischt der Funke Leben dann wieder recht schnell. Und dann "slow blues", da hatte ich bereits nach 20 Sekunden genug. Hier hab ich ehrlicherweise nicht durchgehalten und weitergedrückt. Man kann zwar noch erahnen, was gemeint war, die Umsetzung ist leider nicht gelungen. Man höre sich mal einen John Lee Hooker an, egal was, egal aus welchem Album, jeder Takt hat mehr Leben als das hier. Das Stück "funk in" holpert dermassen, dass es mir in den Ohren schmerzt und dabei alles (ich wiederhole mich) äusserst steril. Was mir gut gefallen hat, waren die musikalisch interessanten Ideen, wie z.B. die Trompete in "my finale", wenn auch hier die Keys für meinen Geschmack zu arg im Vordergrund waren. Mein Anspieltip: "hang-dream" Insgesamt schwanken meine Bewertungen zwischen 1 und 7. Umso mehr finde ich es schade, dass das Potential der Stücke über weite Strecken nicht ausgeschöpft wurde.
