Certainement le plus expérimental des albums de DSW mais aussi, certainement, le plus difficile, le plus audacieux. Découpé en trois parties, en faisant abstraction de l'intro( la pluie), DSW nous embarque dans un sacré voyage( pas loin dune heure et demi) très intérieur, introspectif et cérébral. Une lente et subtile marche en avant dans un monde très onirique, paysage musical multicolore, traversé de ci, de là par quelques obstacles, une inexorable horloge, un martèlement hypnotique, peut être le temps( passage remarquable),une véritable jungle et ses bruits d'animaux, l'inévitable pluie qui glace, pour atteindre la plénitude et la sérénité. Au bout du compte, de l'ambient "noisy", très apaisant, très chatoyant, une pierre angulaire dans l'oeuvre de ce très imaginatif artiste. Pour aller très loin, à condition bien sûr de jouer le jeu et de se laisser "embarquer". La pochette et le titre(merci San)sont en adéquation totale avec la musique.

The sounds on this album are very subtle, quiet and minimalistic, almost subliminal at times . . . not music but great for white noise needs . . such as reading or trying to sleep or meditate. . . this style of listening, what I like to call a "collage of sound," is very pleasant to listen to . . . The album intros with repetitious rain sounds. The other parts (three, two, one) are full of gentle, electronic sounds, sometimes natural bits from insects etc . . . sometimes a clock or pounding sound or a little spacey music at times and very slow and repetitious but always tender on the ears and the psyche . . . Its calming without demanding attention or acknowledgement . . Headphones are necessary to get the whole effect and benefits . . This is the type of sound (I hesitate to call it music) which is beneficial to my massive headaches and is actually quite healing. . . it also is excellent as a listening device for moments when you want to be creative and be able to focus on something else . . . I confess that I didn't listen to all 85 minutes of the album before I wrote this review . . . did some skipping around . . . and got the full understanding of the album and plus I always trust DigitalSimplyWorld to create high quality pieces . . . This one goes into my minimal/healing/meditation playlists . ..

Not really a review but an observation that artists on Jamendo should be aware of. Since my computer is not on 24/7, I like to download albums and burn them to CDs. This would be one except the limit on my CDs is 80 mins. and this one is 4+ mins. over that. Minus 2 ratings points for unburnability.

Happiness is coming for real artists... colours are just that we all need... so enjoy !! :)) Thanks DSW to be continued...
