Great job, yes it is still Persson, but this time there is something more and something different. Great rhythms, melodies and sounds, and the well known, unmistakable hand of Persson.

Hearing Persson's signature blues/rock guitar in these pieces, makes my heart happy . . . hugely happy! Plus . . I love his new style of album cover . .. very artistic and intriguing .. .. its something that speaks volumes in and of itself . . . I would like to write a poem about it but no . . I'll let the music speak . . . Persson's smooth compositions have become more involved, with a little extra touch . . . some sound addition other than the guitar . . . there seems to be more emotion and expressiveness with the other sounds and instruments adding their voices . . . I like that! Its as if the artist is trying out new brushes, textures and colors which add depth. . . But, what's not to like about Persson's music . . ?? Hmm . . maybe its the fact that as soon as I hear that bluesy guitar . . . by feet start tapping and my head starts nodding and a big goofy smile plasters itself on my face . . . thus distracting other people, as I listen with my headphones . . . too bad! . . In my environment, this album is just for me as I listen for the first time . .. then and only then will I share with the speakers . . . OK . . so far, "The man with the bagpipes" is my favorite . . . loved the misty bagpipe introduction leading into that smooth and delicious guitar . .. You know . . . I would compare PERSSON's music to a rich and smooth chocolate . . . you THINK that maybe you can stop after just one . . but NO . .. you continue until you have scraped the box clean . . . and then you go back for more . . . . . OK . . "Inside the walls" is my new favorite . .. it has a sentimentality that comes through with sensitivity and understanding which makes it a very moving piece . . . Beautiful . . . exquisite . . . expressive . . "Take me with you" was dynamically vibrant . . . a signature PERSSON for sure . . . with some emotional aspects and always that gorgeous guitar . . . No . . "Free at last" is my new favorite . .. it has a beautiful echoing guitar, something that was supremely dreamy and personal . . . hmmm .. . I think I'll have to listen again to this album . . . see if I can pick some new favorites . . . AH . . . now I can play it loud and proud and fill the hearts, minds and ears of others with this energizing, happy music . . . Thank you PERSSON for sharing with us again . . .

This is a wonderfully varied PERSSON album, with his usual soaring and expressive guitar runs combined with some surprising arrangements. My favorites were Outside the Walls, Don't Leave Me Now, Beside You, and Free at Last. jthart

Thirteen albums after, all filled with an undeniable quality, through an unmistakable style and a remarkable amount of fantastic instrumental guitar tracks... and I can't help admiring and wonder at the same time, how the quality and innovation, still keeps leveling on top. Of course that an answer is not really required, because the work speaks for itself and what it says is quite clear and keeps being no less than extremely convincing. And the musical experience itself, as final result, as exciting as effectively pleasant. To listen without questioning and appreciate without reserves... preferentially loud.

Des mélodies bien rythmées qui remplissent les oreilles et ne laissent pas indifférent, loin de là. Des sons qui rappellent une époque que j'ai bien connue, avec de fabuleux artistes dont vous ne dépareillez pas. La piste 7 m'a particulièrement plu. Un album très réussi. A écouter et réécouter avec un énorme plaisir.
