About this album

Fantàsia
The Work "from Dusk till Dawn"

This music was respectably and freely inspired by the masterpiece novel "The Neverending Story" by Michael Ende which is one of my favourite book of all time.
I composed it mainly to be the original music score for the first italian theatrial adaptation of the script that I personally wrote in August 2005.
Suddenly after the script, I begun writing the music. It was a very hard work that ended in late July 2006, just in time for the first performance.
In 2010-2011 I re-edited all tracks and made subsequent changes and some new entries.

In composing, I preferred and used achoustic instruments - when possible - and when not,
made a mixture between digital VST sounds and achoustic ones in order to obtain best quality and real sounds.

"Music always comes directly from the Soul and it spins in your brain making you insane
until you draw it on the pentagram. To do so, you have to descend into the deepest part of yourself and suffer deep inside in order to compose and communicate emotions out of you.

That's not easy! Notwithstanding that, I really enjoyed composing it, playing it during many performances made.

Everything, as life must be, was astonishingly exciting!"

I hope you'll like my work and come back soon looking for new ones.
Thank You!

Beautiful . . . magical and uplifting . .. with stunning, heart-stopping, chilling sound effects . . . The music was exquisite, with internally emotional visuals . .. . and interspersed with surprising sounds which added greatly to the appeal of the album . . . This is the kind of album with which I will go back and listen to for creative ideas and inspiration . . . and yet its great for relaxation, introspection and daydreaming . . . Thank you so much for sharing. P.S. Also thank you for sharing the information regarding the making of this album with us . .. I love reading . . .
