The theme of these two songs by Sean Wright is a universal one: peace and love. He writes such intricate melodies woven over simple chords. It's genius songwriting - years and years of songwriting experience stamped on every note. I hear Neil Young and George Harrison's influence. But most of all I hear that instantly recognizable sound of Sean Wright! Classy songs!

'Glint Of Light', is a two track, Acoustic Folk-Pop album. The songs in this twosome capture something of the Feeling of the 1960s as expressed by artists such as Peter, Paul and Mary, Simon and Garfunkel and James Taylor. Magnifiques accords sur 2 pistes très harmonieuses et de superbes voix. Un peu court, dommage, j'aurais aimé en écouter un peu plus.

Leider nur zwei Tracks, aber mit diesen zwei wunderschönen Tracks kann man dennoch zwei wunderschöne Lieder genießen. Wie man es nicht anders von Sean Wright kennt ist auch diese Musik wieder sehr schön gemacht und es ist ein Genus sie zu hören.

This was so pretty, Sean . . . I adored "Glint of Light" and found it so moving with your wonderful voice and the harmonica, guitars and light percussion . It actually brought the tears to my eyes as it reminded me of my old hippie days . . . the kind of music I listened to . . . "Peace Within" was likewise beautiful and touching but maybe a little more catchy as I found myself singing along . . . really liked that . . . I haven't seen you around in a while . . . so it was a really big pleasure to find this album on the pages here . . . Thank you for sharing with us . . . always - always a huge delight! if we could be transported back in time, these two songs would taken us to the chilled out world of the swinging sixties. So much goodness here!

The songs are a notch higher than most artists here on Jamendo. Really classy performance and writing. Peace Within will be on my Xmas download list of must listens.
