In accordance with the regulations of Europe and Luxembourg, Jamendo, in its capacity as a host on the Internet, hereby defines its protocol for reporting abusive content that involves:
- that which advocates crimes against humanity,
- that which incites racial hatred,
- that which incites violence,
- that which is in violation of human dignity,
- that which infringes on the intellectual property rights of others/li>
To report abusive content, please send an email to: legal@jamendo.com or a letter that specifies the date on which you viewed/heard the content, your name, the URL that points to the content in question, a description of the content and the identification of its author.

You may also notify us of abusive content directly on the website by clicking on the inappropriate content icon on the album page in question.
Under the law of August 14, 2000 on electronic commerce, Jamendo is under obligation to remove all clearly illegal content as soon as we are informed of it.
Please be aware that incomplete notifications may not be considered valid.
Those who falsely report content or activity as illegal while knowing this information is incorrect may be subject to criminal prosecution from the Luxembourgish courts.
If you find that content on Jamendo infringes on your intellectual property rights, please send a notice via email or by letter that states the following information:
- the date of notification;
- the identity of the notifier;
- if the notifier is an individual person, please include your name, occupation, residence, nationality, date and place of birth;
- if the notifier is a corporation, please include its form, name, registered office and the body that legally represents it;
- a description of the facts, the name of the title being disputed and the name of the artist;
- the reasons why the content should be removed, including the reference to legal provisions or evidence of facts;
- the copy of correspondence with the author or publisher, information or suspicious activities requiring interruption, withdrawal or modification, or justification for what the author or publisher could not be contacted.
Again, please be aware that any incomplete notifications may not be considered valid, as they may not be specific enough for identifying the content or infringement.
