Nightwalker - Negativa

Nightwalker

Negativa

Well - I'm surprised at how well this is going. Nightwalker is pretty good considering his background - and all done on his computer with no formal musical training. Gives me hope that I can reason out GarageBand enough to teach my students something. Nightwalker is very inspiring.

I love his big drums and melodies. His music has a broad horizon personality and a lot of energy. With "Killing Diary" I visualized wide ranges with wild horses running free and the white clouds above, headed home. "Momentary Loneliness (is not forever)" had a great message and was some super hard rock. One of my favorites was "Blackstone Chronicles" with big drums running along some lively sparkling piano, guitar, synth and symphonic style instruments. Truly marvelous. That one was grand, like a monumental fable being told; an adventure with many turns in the pathway. Those drums at the beginning of "Black Dogs" literally got my heart racing. "Lazy Days" was a rock song with a lot of surprising twists. I really liked how "Walking Alone" started with that guitar plucking and moved into the drums and instruments. That one was another favorite. "Negativa" was just grand, I liked it too.

Overall this is a fantastic album with some pretty good music on it. I would say that Nightwalker has some natural born talent to come up with such moving stuff.

mindthings - Life's Path

The opening track of this experimental, instrumental album is absolutely gorgeous; one of the most stunning I've heard. What's more, the album ends in the same way it begins - the last track is only a shade less captivating. In between, there are some good tracks, but sadly, too many weak ones prevent it from being a masterpiece. That said, it is in no way an album you should pass up. I highly recommend it.

I'm not sure how to pronounce this album, let alone how to classify it. It lies somewhere between the genres of "wonderful" and "fantastic", I suspect. It isn't rock; it's modern, progressive orchestral music. "Epic" and "intense" are understatements. It isn't like classical music at all, really. It's very dark, but very beautiful. This is one of the few albums I would rank as a masterpiece. Do yourself a favor and download it now.

An eclectic assortment of post and experimental rock. This is quality music, but music that is likely very different from anything you've heard before. Not in a bad way at all, it's just highly unique; a breath of fresh air. It's also fairly intense, but not trashy. I've spent many hours enjoying this album. It's something you have to experience for yourself to understand, but experience it you should.

Despite a weak intro track(don't let that turn you off), this is an exceptionally good post rock album. Its music is sometimes beautiful, sometimes epic, but almost always fantastic. The sound is reminiscent of Mogwai and Explosions in the Sky, but it isn't a clone of either. If you're a fan of post rock, you're in for a treat. If you aren't familiar with the genre, a word of warning: this isn't mainstream music. It's all instrumental, and requires active listening to enjoy; it probably isn't something you would listen to in the car.

I love this album because of the voice (beautiful) and the music is, for me, very original. Electric Rainbow reminds me, in the feelings, one of my favorites bands: Camel. GOOD WORK, KEEP ON GOING!!!!!!!!!

It's really awesome the way this album can keep you interested just by using a piano. Maybe I feel attracted by it's simplicity. Anyway, great album!.

Es increíble la forma en la que este album te mantiene interesado solamente usando un piano. Tal vez me atrajo esa sencillez. De cualquier manera, un excelente álbum!
