I dare you to listen to this wonderful African style percussion/music and not get up and move those legs of yours. Why, move your whole body! Gotta move to this. It is really good!

I have been looking for World music like this, as the school I teach in is brimming with refugees and immigrants from all over the world. Many of our children are from Kenya, Somalia, and elsewhere in Africa. We have African drummers come and perform for us sometimes, but it would be nice to have a little collection on CD's to play for all of our children as we are trying to broaden their horizons.

Does anyone know anything about what regions of Africa this music came from? Africa is a big continent with many countries and customs.

This is a very appealing ambient/trance album. I have been enjoying the gentle music this afternoon as I do chores around the house. I think the album is nicely composed and presented. I found the cover attractive (that's what hooked me). I have to confess that I am listening to it through the laptop speakers and it sounds really great, and that means it would sound even better with headphones or through a download and some really great speakers. So, thanks for sharing!

Nice to hear a powerful and overtly political message

If I had to say something negative about Talco it's that they are full on all of the time. I like contrast too... Never mind. When are you coming to England? Singing in anything other than English is a problem for most Brits, unfortunately.

Cercherò per voi la prossima volta che mi trovo in Italia(Scusi il mio italiano).

I adored these charming Ukraine ballads. I couldn't understand a word but I loved the tone, the guitar playing, the mood, the voice. It was all wonderful! I thought that if made me think of the old Russian folk songs that I had always loved to hear. I felt that the artist, Александра Бондаренко, was full of personality and force of character in her singing and had a very pleasant voice for folk singing. I would love to hear her live, for the added charm.

This album is loaded to the brim with lively, happy, excellent acoustic guitar music. Matt Stevens has some wonderful and outstanding talent. I think the album was very consistent in quality and appeal and all the pieces are equally enjoyable. He has some great mixes of instrumental variety with his guitar work which adds quite a nice depth to his tunes. I hope to hear more from this artist. This is a standout album and deserves a close listen especially by all the guitar aficionados out there.

We love Grandmothers because we wish we were one or we wish ours was still around; and we are very charmed by your wish to please your Grandma. So tell her, greetings from this listener at Jamendo.

I love the way you intro your tunes with a gentle minimalist approach. Your tune "tocToc" was a delicate percussion and melodic too considering all the white spaces in the piece. That tune is beautifully surprising and nice. "berlin" is quite a relaxed stroll at a very sedate tempo. Excellent! "RobotGym" brought charming images to mind of darling little robots learning their stuff. Nice percussion in this one.

Overall I loved this little album. It is pleasing to listen to and think about what you were trying to paint with your musical brush. Thank you very much for sharing! And blessings to you and your Grandmother.

first of all, the fact i gave you the rating 6 dont mean i find you boring. thats jamendos trip:))

i like your stuff, reminds me a little bit on joy division with some garage punk. so, i like it. maybe you should record a better demo? or even put some post-noise aspects in your music? just an idea...
