I love this whole concept. What energy there is in this album. And the desire to honor and respect the hard working friends in these tiring professions of steel working and woodcutting is quite an unique idea. I think you captured the picture of their sound day quite well and very creatively. You made good use of your instruments to do so. Your sounds are clear and sharp and have purpose and meaning. I would not call this an easy listening or musical entertainment album but rather a modern painting of sound and to be looked at and interpreted through the ears, brain and heart. Job well done!
This album is a little gem - a love tune - both tracks are so delicate in that expression of feelings. And what a marvelous voice you have - And what a beautiful poem with that last stanza: "Unspoken words set free -- now fly" brought a tear to my eye. Was that all yours Frank Harper? You have talent that soars. Well I can say that I'm glad I stumbled on this delightful little album. Thank you for sharing with us.
The first track is an excellent opener, keeping me on the edge of my seat.I was barely able to wait to hear if the following tracks would hold up (to be honest I was a little bit afraid that they wouldn't). But they came, and by god, there are absolutely no disappointments. This is truly a top notch demo/album and it is a shame that it has not been discovered by more people.
The energy and the math are great. The listening never becomes dull because it's not easy to guess what's going to happen next. So if you want album full of noisy, heavy math rock and lots of surprises, this album is definitely for you.
Amazing - each track is Interesting and unique from the other tracks. Yet, they all flow so well together. I thought some of the genres were mixed yet it all worked so well. I caught some ambient, dance, exotic/world, rock, hypnotic and yet all sounds so appealing. I heard some lovely piano, acoustic guitar, a warm, soft male voice, some nice instrumental layers with some percussion mixed in. Overall this album is short and relaxing with some pretty nice tunes. The artist put a lot of care into this.
This group had me from the first few bars - then I skipped through and heard the singing mix - and I knew this group was tight. REAL tight. Nice. More please.

WOW - I love it all - I have to say that I am speechless and seeing that others have spoken before me, I would just like to say - Nicely Offbeat! I love this sort of instrumental articulation, battles, discussions, love-making as I hear in this album. Each track being a nice portraiture of the artist's vision and desire. Each instrument has a clear voice and a personality to be dealt with. I think the synth (in a track or two) is a little blurry but seems to sharpen the edges of the saxophone in an unusual and appealing cross vibe. I agreed with Cvijaxo in that this is a "real musical adventure. . ." and that the saxophone is gorgeous. This album's music is excellent nonverbal poetry
I don't speak a word of French - but this tune grabs you no matter what language. More please.
