I liked this album. Good and heavy with lots of beat and no real sappy run ons.
Nice to thrash to.

I did a tag search for "triphop" and found this album. Gave it a listen, and then downloaded it straight to my hardware player.

"The black page" and "What about us" are absolutely brilliant.

Some of the tracks sound a bit like Spylab or Morcheeba's instrumental tracks, and are at least as good. But the album also has a unique, coherent sound.

9/10. Give me more!

I have been eagerly waiting for this for some time now, after listening to Public Domain for months (and still enjoying it!).

Theres a few tracks I gripe about, though.

"You Are God" and "Struttin" sounds too much like trance in my opinion. For "Empty" and "Breathe", I just can't put my finger on it. And that video for breathe, wtf??

The other tracks are wonderful. "Waltz Into The Moonlight" is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. I downloaded "Lovely", "Alone", and "Listen" (only the piano in background) from Tryad's website several months ago, plus their single "Beauty", and have enjoyed all ever since.

Very nice electronic pop. Some tracks are reminiscent of Lamb and Hooverphonic (in a good way). I especially like "Breathe" and "Empty" (mmm, nice distorted synth lines).

Good sounds and vocals throughout the album. The only tiny complaint I can come up with is that I would have liked to hear some of the tracks mixed a bit "harder" (louder percussion, a bit more distortion on the instruments etc).

I give this a rating of 9/10. It doesn't get much better than this!

"100% KOSVOCORE" really kickstarts the album and is the track that I like the most. Very energetic and nicely arranged. The following 4 tracks are also good, especially "Ejacul ED". Some of the tracks remind me of my favourite hardcore album, Technohead's "Headsex".

I don't like "Gerard Et La Radio" as much, the voices get a bit boring (probably because I don't understand a word they are saying) and the background music isn't all that exciting. The fiddle-like sound in "Hard Valle Shqip" sounds a bit out of place and is a bit too eurotechno-ish for my taste.

Some of the tracks sound like they could use a bit more bass. A mastering issue?

All in all, I like the album. I'm giving it a rating of 7 - if I could rate only the first 5 tracks it would be an 8.

Disregard the other 'review' which says that this album is not good, because that is simply not true. I have many varying tastes, just like anyone else, and consider my musical palate to be fairly broad. One of the first bands I heard in the genre of electronic pop was Dolores, and I instantly was drawn to them. Their eclectic and bare-bones style was the first thing that struck me, as the filler and fluff that pervades much of popular music (in America at least) was absent, in favor of raw emotion and ability, not afraid to step out from the cage of appealing to fads that so many bands today get trapped in, inhibiting their creativity. I can honestly say that Dolores, as well as the band members' other projects, are among my favorite music; alongside such varied acts as Escape The Day, The Police, and King Diamond.

The 12 tracks on Undone present a lot of different things, from anger to happiness, sadness to disgust, longing to disappointment, et cetera. All of them are very well composed, with a lot of thought and feeling put into the melodies and vocals. My favorite tracks in particular are: 'Falling Down', 'The Boy Who', and 'Obscene', though all of them are equally good and special in their own right.

I encourage you to listen to this incredible debut album, and I hope that we will hear more from this fantastic group as time goes on.

Even though I don't understand the French vernacular, I must say this is a very good album (both vocals and instruments are very well done). If you are reading this and you like Third-wave ska music then download this album now. The only problem I had with this album is that it is only 5 tracks long.

Hey guys,

cool ideas on this album. I really like the lead singer. the backing vocal track is not my favo. I think that for excample on the first song its way to loud. It takes the attention of the lead voice away in a negative way.
Keep up the work.
