Wow, amazingly good Chiptune. This album or kinds of these
could definiatly go commercial. But i would strongly advice
to sell over a own label and over the internet.
Nice guys niceeeeeeeeeee music, keep going ;)
This is a really excellent album, worthy of your review.
Yea sounds like good guitar technique in all the songs ive listened to so far. The overall ambient of the album is just bad ass, not way to dark or muddled but also not the light poppy sound that can pisses a lot of us off. Great riffs, licks, melodies and rhythms etc. the only thing that i don't think is too strong here are the vocals but thats not really a deterrent at all. great stuff!
Revolution Void deftly balances jazz and electronic music to create something that you would be comfortable recommending to fans of either genre.
Just when you think that a track is getting too comfortable, the music shifts and does something unique. "Headphonetic" starts off like stock downtempo, but then it breaks into a very up-tempo jazzy jam. "Nebulous Notions" begins with an electronic beat but eventually is overtaken by a jazz piano improv. The only thing consistent about the music is that it always sounds great and never gets boring.
Instead of the album sounding like sampled jazz music set to a beat, it sounds like a jazz album where samples and drum machines are equal improvisational partners to the classic jazz instruments.
This is a good album from start to finish. If you are a fan of either jazz or electronic music but only a casual listener of the other, this is a great album to check out.
I like this album because it seems like the artists had a lot of fun recording the songs. Good times. I can't really say that much about them, except the first song is good fun punk.
This instrumental collection reminds me of something by Medeski, Martin & Wood. It's funky, jazzy, and altogether spacey. Rich with off beats and deep tones - it's a feast for the ears. Surprisingly good.
I have had a chance to fully listen but what I heard so far propels to listen more, which is more than I can say for recordland (meaning the hated RIAA). I found this site that gets around the RIAA but offering the music free to those that want to listen. There's always an option to contribute to the artists efforts without making those fat cats richer then they already are. The url for Jamendo is http://www.jamendo.com, check them out.
This is first dnb album I've ever heard. I enjoy it as well. For me it's very good work :) but I can't say my opinion in this moment.
This is some great music. I really like "The black page".
Absolutamente recomendable.
