Je mets un petit 9/10. - surtout grâce au morceau "Cat Familiars"
Ca m'a beaucoup fait penser à "Robots in Disguise" et "Silence Poets" avec un coté impro en plus;
bref, j'ai adoré
I discovered try^d entirely randomly. Only later did I find out that they are one of the most highly-rated creative commons groups. Frankly I'm not surprised that they are getting so much attention. The tracks are all very distinctive and almost hypnotic at times. They work great as background music, or as the focal point for some very analytic listening.
ist auf jeden Fall gegeben. Auch wenn mir gleich im ersten Song die eine oder andere Passage recht bekannt vorkam, war ich doch alles in allem angenehm überrascht. Der dominierende Blues gepaart mit Rock und auch ein wenig Funk, geben dem Album eine spezielle Note. Alles in allem ein Album was man sich getrost mal anhören kann, wenn man die o.g. Stilelemente mag.
hey guys! nice album, I've just began to listen to it but it's really surprising me! Furios is an amazing track.. I love electro and techno, your sound jump through different kind of music but here I can find some features that I love.. nice bassline and clean sound! that's what I try to produce and you're an ispiration for musician as me. thanks
Fast moving prog intstrumental, nice tempo and melody changes, never gets stale or repetitious. As I grew up in the 70's it reminds me somewhat of Wishbone Ash with a hint of Synergy and Jean Michel Jarre, maybe some Ozric Tentacles.
Excellent distorted and fuzzed guitar work over lots of varying, dynamic tempo changes and crescendos that keep it from sounding like Fruity Loops hell. The mp3's are plenty clean enough to burn to wav.
All in all, an amazingly good free download. Get it, you'll be glad you did. And visit JT's website for more interesting media stuff.
In my opinion first song is great and the others are not worse so listen to them since they know what music really is !!

really, really funky sutff. enjoyed every second of every song. nex ttime though, i'd suggest perhaps - lower the length (7 minutes and such) and make a few more tracks?
just a suggestion, though everything here is quality, quality stuff.
This album instantly brought back the moment I listened to th Clash for the first time. After listening through the album I can understand why, although I must admit my grasp of french is not strong enough to allow any comment on the texts.
The attitude is clearly there, the music is kept tight, agressive and plain enjoyable. Great listening, and clearly an album I'll have to keep on my mp3 player.
Some comments on the album:
- First track was an instant "back to the early 80's" hit in the gut.
- Second track and third track are good, and stick to the style set by the first, but are kept closer to ska than punk.
- 4th track is more ska, but still enjoyable for those of us who mixed madness and specials into the mix "back then".
- Track 5 have got more punk than the previous tracks, and I really wish my french was better as I haven't got a clue as to what it's about. Music is ok, but not exceptional.
- Track 6 sticks with the punk theme. This is a song I'd have paid to hear "in concert".
- Track 7 returns to the ska corner, excellent intro, and the uptempo is just yelling "get up and move!"
- Track 8 is in my opinion the weakest piece on the album, more due to personal preference than musical shortcomings.
- Track 9, 10 and 11 rounds the album off nicely.
I have to agree with the tags set for this album, although I'd say it is more punk/ska than dub, but hey, what do I know, I'm just listening to music. :)
