it's orignal very funny and orecchiabile
This album has real staying power. It isn't just another trippy compilation, it's art. Semi-Atomic Breeze has become one of my all-time favorite songs and if you have any soul you will stream and then download that song and hear what I am talking about. This music is easy to listen to, but not too easy; it draws the listener in without drowning out the complex musical narrative hinted at in the titles.

Pretty tight band, and the vocalist has a pretty good sound -- which is key, because the vocalist is frequently the weak link in an otherwise solid band. In my case, it may help that I don't actually speak Spanish -- it just *sounds* cool.
Largo viaje has a great rocking feel. Soledad is a solid ballad. Tierra de Nadie has a good swinging feel.
I am curious about one thing, though -- how can the two cover tracks (which I really like) be released under a Creative Commons license?
just happened to stumble upon this album and it was love on first "sight". great beats and rhythms, just right for mixin
Which is a good thing. Okay, so maybe it's a *little* bit of damning with faint praise, but then again, George Winston is pretty much the gold standard for this genre, isn't he? In a way, everybody who dares to record this sort of atmospheric solo piano is going to be a poor man's George Winston.
But hey, I spent entire evenings of my life listening to "Winter Into Spring" during a tough time in my life. And honestly, there are passages here where I probably couldn't tell Rob Costlow from George Winston -- which I consider to be praise indeed.
So. If you like George Winston, you'll like Rob Costlow. Eminently listenable.
