This group had me from the first few bars - then I skipped through and heard the singing mix - and I knew this group was tight. REAL tight. Nice. More please.
"This album is for anyone who gave up on a dream to settle for the mediocre...
For anyone medicated for asking questions..
Judged for being different..
Hated for being honest..
This is the soundtrack for those stuck on the slow road to nowhere...
For BIG dreams in shitty towns..
For anyone chasing something they will never find.."
Great lyrics and beats, flow.... intelligent Hip Hop.
Added to favourites.
Peace
WOW - I love it all - I have to say that I am speechless and seeing that others have spoken before me, I would just like to say - Nicely Offbeat! I love this sort of instrumental articulation, battles, discussions, love-making as I hear in this album. Each track being a nice portraiture of the artist's vision and desire. Each instrument has a clear voice and a personality to be dealt with. I think the synth (in a track or two) is a little blurry but seems to sharpen the edges of the saxophone in an unusual and appealing cross vibe. I agreed with Cvijaxo in that this is a "real musical adventure. . ." and that the saxophone is gorgeous. This album's music is excellent nonverbal poetry
I don't speak a word of French - but this tune grabs you no matter what language. More please.
a perfect musical world - enchanting
very impressive, a darkness full of light - when can we gear more?
"a veces" is a very nice piece of music
You have a great start to a talent I hope You widen your scope of imaginations add more diversity and change up the beats.
I dare you to listen to this wonderful African style percussion/music and not get up and move those legs of yours. Why, move your whole body! Gotta move to this. It is really good!
I have been looking for World music like this, as the school I teach in is brimming with refugees and immigrants from all over the world. Many of our children are from Kenya, Somalia, and elsewhere in Africa. We have African drummers come and perform for us sometimes, but it would be nice to have a little collection on CD's to play for all of our children as we are trying to broaden their horizons.
Does anyone know anything about what regions of Africa this music came from? Africa is a big continent with many countries and customs.
This is a very appealing ambient/trance album. I have been enjoying the gentle music this afternoon as I do chores around the house. I think the album is nicely composed and presented. I found the cover attractive (that's what hooked me). I have to confess that I am listening to it through the laptop speakers and it sounds really great, and that means it would sound even better with headphones or through a download and some really great speakers. So, thanks for sharing!
