This album made me smile and have a good time, and reminded me of cowboys and Spanish music, mixed into one, and had a good senses of fun and humour to it as well. Interesting, jolly, informative, and very different, let alone unique, in sights and sounds. And the music was euphoric, infectious and really nice to just check out and enjoy.obviously I miss the important bit out, as to what he is singing about, and that was because I don't understand Spanish. sadly..
A really good, catchy, euphoric,tuneful, delightful,even a touch of high energy, electronic, trance,dance, house music, track.
Before he moved to Scotland, I met Maze and he showed me a few analog-era synths on the computer in his studio. He was fascinated with the idea of experimenting with these for a new album.
I'm not the least surprised that the same fascination oozes from this work. I can hear him from under this very different set of sounds, his typical hidden melodies, his rare gift to make monotony feel not monotonous at all, his gentle use of percussions and basses.
However experimental, this is very mature and proud work.
Excellent electric,acoustic guitar tracks, with beautiful, inspirational, atmospheric-al, appealing, interesting, inspiring,flavours and stylish talent and energy, heard and all rolled into one, let alone a good drummer to match as well, on these two, exceptional talented,gifted, powerful, euphoric, fantastic, rock tracks heard. Now all I need is more of the same please from you real soon..
Even thou, these where only two tracks,, from Mary & Juan, you always, no matter what, get top class exceptional, listening material from both, and this was no exception, to say the least on hearing these two profoundly, intoxicating, dreamy, upbeat,catchy,enchanting, magical, bewitching, heavenly, euphoric, delightful, soothing, comforting, easy to listen to piano, vocals,electronic guitar, classical, tracks heard here...Let alone in track one, Juan trade mark guitar music and in track two, Mary's compelling, sweet, heartfelt,dreamy, gorgeous vocals as well here and the acoustic music by Juan. A recommend listening materiel to say the least as always from the brilliant, excellent collaboration between Mary & Juan.. Bravo..
1st.. a great funky, jazzy, blues track, that makes you feel so good and alive checking it out. Let alone fun sounding at that.And very cool, relaxing as well. 2nd... Electronic heaven, nice mixes and beats to this unique, experimental,pleasing, nice vibe and good listening material of a track. 3rd...good drumnbass,interesting, compelling, funky, groovy, unique, experimental, electronic track on top of this.. Quite euphoric sounding and upbeat as well. Makes you want to tap your toes to this tune.
Wonderful, top notch, great expression and good music heard on these three tracks.
Beautiful music that just drifted inside my head and heart and stimulated my senses to the max and beyond.. Checking out this lovely, original, compelling, thought provoking, string instruments in first track, piano in second and orchestral, classical, euphoric, gorgeous track in being the last one heard. Outstanding listening material, loved every minute of these profoundly irresistible tracks. Favourite being the last one..Top notch..
Dramatic, sinister, evolving,classical,dark,beautiful, sound-scape of compelling, thought provoking,electronic, orchestral even, moving, daring,serene, ethereal music. That fills you up and takes you on a magical journey into the heart and soul of this very talented composer and performer, let alone musicians mind. Expressed to perfect and also teases and pleases the listener to the max on checking this whole album out..
ps only down fall this that some pieces of music,cut off far to quickly at end of each track, and so on doing that spoils it for me.. slightly....
