I downloaded this a few weeks ago..I normally review before downloading, but on listening I realised this was something special, so I am now reviewing after a few listens. I am back-to-backing this and your "Awakening" album..as i think both are equallly good. Just love...production, melodies, freshness, your obvious passion & understanding of the genres (a nice touch of Deep House in "Beyond Space" from Awakening for example)...all in all these 2 are the best "Chilled" releases commercial or otherwise I have heard this year. As a collector & DJ of many years I have a good knowledge of record labels ('real ones') who could be interested in music of this qulaity...drop me an Email & I will send a couple of links your way if UR interested. With my deepest respect & thanks. PJR

Musical Landscapes I

.....in its scope & intensity. I am listening to Nuendo on repeat as write...in fact the only negative comment is that the tarcks could all be much longer. Musical Landscapes could easily justify being a full-length (70 mins +) CD album.
With thanks and respect. PJR

I love this album - lotta trance like glory on it! Very conducive to receiving visions. I enjoy reading the Bible out loud with this album playing in the background. Something very powerful happens! Look forward to hearing more from this artist.

What a mellow, intimate voice in that first song. The male singer, Gilles Snowcat, has a warm, laid back kind of charming voice. The music is easy listening, maybe a little on the jazzy side occasionally.

"Urbanemia" has a wonderful melody and a pleasant rolling beat. "Airefa" is striking with its steel pan drum sound. "Ghostwind" starts out with a wind and a howl that carries over quite well into a very lovely melody. I guess I loved all the songs on this album. They are nicely made, unique, and wonderful to listen to.

Frozen Flowers

"Frozen Flowers" has turned out quite a bit better than "Whispers of the Old World." This album has much better sound quality and doesn't disappoint, especially to fans of Celtic/Metal. The female voice is great and the instruments are astonishingly good. I love the Celtic strings and guitar highlights.

One of my favorites, "The White Deer" had a lovely melody, drums, and outstanding singing. I think it must be difficult and exhausting to sing in this manner as the Celtic style singer needs to keep up with the tempo, and project her soprano voice over the energetic guitars, strings, and drums. I thought that "Metal Jig" was a good showcase for the Celtic/Metal fusion and it sure made me want to break out into a jig. I loved the overall production of "Dawn of God" which was outstandingly awesome to listen to and where strings, guitar riffs, singer and all shined brightly like the sun.

WOW!

Josh Woodward has so much incredible talent. He has a marvelous voice, a sweetly talking guitar, a sense of humor, and he writes some very expressive lyrics. I love the poetry (some in protest) on this album, in particular, "To Lose the War." I really liked the melodies of "Fool's Gold" and "Fit For a King." Josh sings from the heart and tells the tales of this world in a strong voice using some excellent poetry.

Hungry Lucy - Glo

Hungry Lucy

Glo

The female voice, Christa Belle, in "Glo" by Hungry Lucy is serenely mysterious, distantly cool, and nicely controlled. Her voice, in these songs, can also express itself as exotic, honey sweet and soft. For such a gentle voice she seems to have very nice range, clarity, and expression while singing these songs.

The other aspects of this album are also well done; the composition, the instrumental, and the lyrics. I wish the lyrics had been published on the Lyric page but generally they were pretty easy to follow.

I loved the beauty of the song, "Telltale Shot." This song was a marvelous showcase for this gal's voice. Another favorite was "Storm." It made me think of a downtempo cabaret style song. I enjoyed "Open Window" and was impressed by her breathing, almost whispering style of singing. "Glo," the title song was lovely indeed and specifically upbeat.

Overall this is an exceptional singer with a high entertainment level and she would be enjoyable to watch in person.
