Tripped-out beats, great listening through headphones. Sumptuous mojotonic sound topographies with edge! Hot!
I love this concept and collaboration. I love the idea that we should find our dreams and follow them again - like we thought we would when we were children. The music is light, uplifting and just lovely, backed by the powerful talent displayed by these artists. It is a beautiful and non burdensome road to follow as I am listening to these exceptional songs and lullabies for our inner child. I would say that this music is relaxing for the soul and in a way gives peace to our hearts.
This is really good. I heard the first track on Density of Sound (http://densityofsound.com/wordpress/) and had to listen to the rest.
What simply beautiful music in a nutshell this very soothing, relaxing, graceful even elegant, atmospheric,Medieval at times whimsical, enchanting, bewitching sound-scape of delight is surely is.. As you listen you feel yourself, transport back to such times. And you explore and feel the music come alive within you and your imagination takes on wondrous forms of images and visions with in your minds eye, heart and soul. As you listen to this breathtaking, stirring, euphoric even..inspirational..gentle peace music to you...
I totally agree with a terex, this would be fantastic in some movie or musical score that belongs in Medieval times. As it would just fit right in perfectly..
Beautiful compositions, very relaxing to listen to with nice complexity. Merci pour cette musique superbe!
no not realy, just that 6 is kao boring. Ma italijani ne znajo muske delat. Ma sj ni res. maš tud dobre bende...
Clicking through the tracks on this "album" is like driving by a bloody car wreck- you can't take your eyes (ears) away from the carnage. It is probably the funniest set of recordings I've heard since I was drunk in college. Any of the tracks (because they all sound amazingly similar) would be great to put in at a party just to see things come to a screaching halt as everyones jaws dropped and said, "are you serious?".
Unfortunately, he is serious. So, I wish him well and keep on practicing.
I must also add that the album cover is very nice and all of the titles are very creative. Good job. You have more guts than me.
Hello man! I must be honest, It's so repeated, The synths are nice but It's so looping everymoment. I'm sorry if you dont understand my english, I dont speak very well.
Please give some more tracks! please -- don't lose the JAZZ that you got - wow - although voice has R&B abilites like crazy - use the R&B stepping stone to Step onward into your jazz side - please don't 'backward' into R&B-beendonebefore (i doubt you would) keep the chord progression - do a cover of "Hit the Road Jack in your live set - but keep it Original -
great arrangements with horns wow! modern up-close vocal recording - but you might try a little environmentalisation on vox - almost too in-face, but I still liked it -
Jazziness keeps the charm in the work - so in my opinion I encouraging keeping the jazziness and "soul" over the risk of cliche' "R&Bness" -
I'll be looking for the next work
I was in fear, that this album might also be misunderstood by me, so I have given it a good try, when I was driving to my in-laws. So, we type "paniq" in the google, and we have first surprise: the album on composers own web page is different from the one published on Jamendo. I mean the tunes are the same, but the list is arranged differently. Does it change anything? I'm used to listening whole albums. I believe, that the composer, singer, or atleast sound engineer had a concept to arrange tunes on disk in one order not another. I feel it to be a blasphemy to use random shuffle on a record that is not compilation or "the best of". Seeing such a thing, as two releases the same, but different, can mean two things: either the author or publisher didn't care, or the author changed own mind after time. Which case we cross here -- how the hell could I know? But to the album itself: The quality of sound and mixing is best of all albums to date. Among all the tunes we hear only one song, and an á capella one. There is some interesting experiment with ring modulation in Nuts and Bolts and The future of the Internet, Lovers in space sounds a bit like best old tunes by Members of Mayday, und alle so yeaah sounds as played on a broken cassete deck, so poular in 1990's. All in all, the album is not boring at all, and everyone can find a tune or two he or she will like. My opinion? Seven stars [*******---] and nomination for Album of the Year award.
