The red sun started plunging down into the yellow sea
An apple tree all green and brown sang a lullaby to me
It was like ‘if you look for love don’t spread round the sand of your heart
Because it’s watching you from above so just wait and play your part.’
So I looked up silently heart-shaped apples were hung down
Then I knew that love stood above me but no one was there to get it down

A little blue bee came to me she said she’d lost her family
I said I was terribly sorry ‘if there’s something I can do tell me’
