The calmer tracks are convincing.
Nothing new all in all, but very well done.
imo with more distinction than the previous albums.
Agravic floating in an ocean of ethereal sounds solicited!

Thanks a lot!

ffffff still no review for this cool jewel box? That can't be!
been waiting for s.o. coming along with a qualified review. But ok ...
The intro is not beneficial for the album. Maybe as outro it wouldn't have kept away some prone listener?
So many fans for Professor Kliq's "Guns Blazin" and no prospective listener for "Breaks&Bones"?
"AttackOfMutantAliens", "Simple Grunge", "Bones" ... no?
It is a mystery to me, not logical.
Rocking elements in "This Is Not DnB" , "Madness", Real Strings" mixed to dynamic dnb,
raving hip hop in "DeathOfTheDrummer", jazzy brass in "Jericho", calm down synth pop "Continuum" ... aso
Hard to say if this album is "unsorted",
but it's diversified indeed and it rocks you to the shaking bones

Thanks a lot for a convincing Breaks&Bones!
sorry for this late review

I don't know anything about minimalist music, nor its scene, but if this sound is minimalist music, i'm a devotee.
First listening turned into a delightful surprise. Seems to me it's the gifted gist of his all-embracing previous works.
Very clear sound with a moderate breeze of dub and/or house (eg. "insula", "so", "wet shower").
The tracks are either based on sound layers or come along with rhythmic repetitions of isolated smithereens of synth sounds (eg. "on-off", "drive me")
Nice chill and thrill. I'd call track 7 "drive me" pill music, let's say it's experimental.
But i must admit it drove me ; )

Thanks for this strange and yet nice trip!

KraftiM - Foks

KraftiM

Foks

16/04/09

och, is schon ganz ok, was KraftiM so fabriziert.

Lecker schmecker!

Einfach(e) poprockige Gutelaunemucke mit witzig(gemacht)en Texten.

Ok, there's lots of that kind of stuff around, but ...
Enchanting vocals, good vibes, great dance hall feeling. Sometimes it doesn't take much more to make your day.
Also it ain't the water i'm usually fishing in, i think it's @xutives best album ... 'til now.
I'd like to see him evolve further this way, away from dance n trance "standards".
Listening to this album from beginning to end without any regrets, my favorites are "Beat it" and "Restart", must be their intoxicating energy ; )

Good job! Thanks a lot!

Gute Arbeit! Besten Dank!
Sonniger Gruss nach Lübeck!

Starred and downloaded this album almost one year ago. As i'm still listening to it from time to time, that album got to have something special or at least be of improved quality.
The song that really thrills me to the shaking bones is "Crowdpleaser [Drop the Mic Mix] feat. Frelance and DJ ShoX" reminding me "SGX".
Worked out with "classical" (sounding) elements, this music ranging from ambient to energetic sounds quite fresh.
None of SGX' albums is making it all the way to "awesome", but on each album there's a jewel to be discovered.
All the convincing marvellous music at sgxmusic.com at the back of my mind
(like: Beyond Good and Evil - Frame of Mind | Lux Aeterna - Requiem for a Dream [SGX's Transient Mix] | FFVII - No Such Thing as the Promised Land)
his work truly is worth a 10 rating, deserving more attention.

Thanks a lot for such nice entertainment!

nb: How can his most popular tracks not even reach 6000 listens when this album got 18469 listens ... and "0" english reviews ? ^^

Does anybody remember this album by its simplistic cover with a patchwork of buttons and "push the button" written on it?
Maybe the titles might help: Tomorrow Will Be Like Today, Rock in the Rain, I Don't Play Piano, Maybe I'm Dead
The paradoxal style and "hanging loose" tuning of "I Don't Know What I'm Doing" also recall Money Mark's album released in 1998.
It has a real soulful charm of its own being with jazz, soul, funk, pop, and even ballads over the course.
His vocals aren't blessed by brilliance either, but who cares? They fit like a glove!
Less elaborated, Brad's album rocks more. Ouuuh yesss it does!
But maybe i'm wrong and it takes a lot of elaboration to keep music simple, the hart of it?
Anyway, straight music going straight to your heart.

Brad's (and Mark's) album, propelled by a relaxed shuffle will get you those special summer vibes.
The music isn't awesome, but it's awesome evocative music.

Feeling a bit squiffy, scuff'n my feet across the marketplace swinging to "Never get out", a disbelieving glance at people being in such a tearing hurry ... ooops! Still got my tiger slippers on, know what? I don't care! :D , next beer, next song!

KraftiM - Flaxas ep

KraftiM

Flaxas ep

18/01/09

As an enthusiastic in all kind of saxophone "voices", remoted by the cover i hat to click an listen.
Also it's not the kind of saxophone playing most adepts would expect, i directly starred this pretty cool album.

It takes several times of listening before feeling "comfortable" with/about KraftiM's music,
'cause in the beginning the listeners radar may often tend to switch to analytical scan.
To some its repetition may be boring, but it's hypnotic to me.
That's what gets me over some loss of the saxophone's expressiveness at the filtering.

Flaxas ep has been the very first album i starred at Jamendo and i'm still enjoying its relaxing coolness ever since.
That's why it's worth a 9 to me.

met vriendelijk groet en dank!

I would give a 10 to the chemical brothers for "exit planet dust".
How could i not give "Guns Blazin" a 10 rating?

Pure energy, pure fun, simply cool.
If triphop and bigbeat is up your alley, this hammer-tone finished bomb's yours!

Could have written more about details, but a WOW! copes it. Thanks a lot!
