Your album reminds me of "Temple of Boom"(1999) from the "Killers on the loose".
Your tracks wouldn't have suffered from a greater diversification, but are just fine to me the way they are.
As a humble servant in the audiophile temple of Boom i fall down on my knees and send a deep prayer to the dirty angel, a prayer for more of such.

making a bow in front of the altar of massive loudspeakers

Hail The Phase, full of big beats, the Lord is with thee; thanks a lot for this great solid sound!

It's well worth it (and as it's for free no need to dodge the fare; ) The tags describing well the kind of enchanting trip you'll experience with this album, i'd say it's not an absolut "must have" but a "should have". Give at least the first track a try so you too (hopefully) will succumb to this felicitous invitation to the ride down the mellow road.

Many thanks to Phopha for this well done album!

Did i miss out on some major changes in listening habits this millennium? :ζ

Starting with my favorites from (<Ö>) : "Burst Sand", "Sad & Empty" and "The Bridge"
Their sound reminded me instantly some songs from John Zorn's "Filmworks VI" from 1996 due to its slow moody sound, sweltering flavor of a western scenery.
The album might make you feel even more depressed if you already are. But it does appear quite relaxing when you're not.
I can't say that the vocals do convince me, but they fit to the reverberant sagging improvised guitar play and if you don't like them at all, simply skip them ; )

I understand this album as a felicitous invitation to take a look at http://twindaisiesrecords.webs.com,
a coherent compilation of down tempo tracks that can be found there from the artists:
Mike Bruno, (<Ö>), Smith Smith and Pillow Pilots
I don't really see to whom i could recommend this album, but i clearly do!

Thousand thanks for showing up at Jamendo and sharing!
Mille fois merci pour votre manifestation sur Jamendo!

ps: I ordered the album "Okul" from (<Ö>) and I LOVE IT! (5 stars!) At some critics its sound coulisse has been compared to Neil Youngs sound track for the western "Dead Man" (1995). To all adherents: Check this out!

Thanks a lot for so much joy and sunshine!

Got no distinct favorite tracks. I like the album as a whole. Triphop as it had been at the beginning, much pop, partly melancholic, but not to dark, also fun and not as weird as some representatives later on.
Among those who succumbed to the charms of Hungry Lucy's voice there might be quite some who'll get addicted to Hadley's voice too (and vice versa).

"Sunshine From the Rain" sure is a literally smashing hit.
"Like an Angel" - pop rock driven by a predominantly reverberating guitar play.
"A Place For You" - electropop, partly dark, harsh electronic instrumentation accompanying Hadley's cool performance.
"Lovely"- slightly melancholic, almost lovely triphop
Drum and bass enframe the last two tracks. In a pronounced way at "Want it all" which makes you really want it all (for yourself)
and less accentuated at "Anticipation of an Ending Yet to Come (Remix)" accompanied by a successful combination of oriental (flute, drums) and western (guitar) elements.

From the musical point of view i'll give it a 9 but the impact it has on me is worth 5 stars. This is first and foremost due to Hadley's vocals,
which can be so sweet to seductive, adumbrating vulnerability on the one hand, revealing the rascal and rebel on the other.

In addition i agree with the reviews of elianphaedra and webmadman.

Thanks a lot for this great performance!

Very good trance act - could have blown me away (20 years ago). "there is little new in music today electronica" very true, very common - the malediction of heritage left aside it's a quite nice (back to the roots) trance album sure worth a listen for enthusiast of this genre.

Thanks a lot for sharing!

Mainly spheric trancelike music with an excellent choice of citations/spoken words. Dynamic music, produced professionally, sometimes with a slightly melancholic tendency.

About the outro "All Of Us"
What a strange coincidence that it took this album to lead my attention to this profound reminder, a speech of a child, Severn Suzuki, at the UN Earth Summit in 1992.
(Lyrics: http://www.jamendo.com/en/track/536431 )
StrangeZero succeeded all so well embedding this speech in an appropriate musical frame.

9 for the music, 10 for the work as a whole.
Well done intriguing album cover btw.
Verily recommendable!

Thanks so much for that truly amazing gift!

got no distinct favorite, but Leslie impresses me most with a gun powder voice at "All The Way" followed by a honey sweet voice at the subsequent tracks.
The calmer tracks like "Down Day" ... balm for the soul
The album couldn't be done more pro and on top coming along with 13 nice tracks showing a wide range of emotions her voice is easily up to.

"Your Hair is on Fire" warmly recommended for its great diversity of styles and moods.
More of such at the radio and it would be worth listening in again.

Love your voice, thanks a lot!

The other tracks are not at all my cup of tea,
but "Kiss My Lips" is a classic pop hit to me.
Who cares about the text? Did you ever listen to Blondies "Atomic" lol

Do you have more of this kind? Do you?
More please!

Peace!
