Lovely ambient music made with an eye for detail and lots of artistic sincerity. It's very difficult to create something this sparse while keeping the listener's attention during the whole album. Anitone is not heading for easy scoring.... music and atmosphere seem to come first.... then the artist.
Listened to The Beach three times in a row. I was wondering why it's called this way. I can sense the sand part of the title but the sea seems far away. A dry sea.
No favorite tracks (they're all great) but three or four favorite moments. I loved the Dry Sand miniature, I loved the crackling sound and what it does musically in Shining Star. The last minute of Ulysses was wonderfull too. And let's not forget the last 90 seconds of the album where the tone changes 180 degrees without disturbing me at all.
