Phenomenal album... highly original artistry. Gigantic, epic sound collages depicting all things horrible and decayed -- not for the faint of heart. Listen on good headphones for no regrets!

Extremely powerful, affecting music... the mood of the album will suck you in like a vampire, draining you of your life-blood as you begin to feel overcome by a shadow of evil entering your soul. Fun to listen to on the bus.

The world needs more visionaries like Eftos!

a favourabl listen , charming keyboard sound that seems to just about fit with any & every thing thrown behind it !! quite relaxing to be honest - the dissonances don t affect this mood suprisingly (and welcomely ) , and of course the ambient sounds add deeply to this calmness . seems to focus more on the keyboard towards the end meanwhile with rain on the umbrella palette . i enjoyed that high note and the following from 3:27 . managed to sustain interest through out the 8 minute improv .

as for the marvellous theme of the piece , i can imagine the keyboard sound ITSELF being the voice of the Pandora Alien Being , and the images of earth being conjured up by his storytelling illustrated by the background noise !!!!!! very imaginative , certainly ... a welcome spin on music with ambient sound . ..

The evilness of this music is enough to leech the marrow from my ear bones

Aching drones like great drifting icebergs of beauty . The music acts like one giant backdrop
against which the concept story is painted . Great desolate plains and the silent horrors that float down the river and through the ship crew's minds are revealed . The thin layer of sonority on Passage of Kings I imagine to represent the only bit of divine consciousness left in this barren , diseased wasteland . Is this what the plague would sound like !! The darker tones are dominant on this CD but there are just enough lighter tones to inject life into this music , making sure you yourself don't fall victim to this terrible event !!!!!!

A dosage of music that infects your brain and slows down all thought processes . . .. mmmmmmmarvellous

i love this album. Dhalius uses really interesting
and pleasing chord progressions .

Though the songs may not be sprawling masterpieces in themselvesthe music fits wonderfully with the titles and each piece has a unique feel . together as a whole i think the album cover reflects the contents very well , a patchwork of different styles and textures .

my favourites are "guilt", filled with melancholic reflection, "always egg in the morning" which somehow just seems to be a perfect match for the odd title, and "hero for a day" theme song for an average joe's generosity .

really a surprising dynamic of rapping/spoken word with long weaving melodies as well as the odd chorus hook ....

the flute on elastique what a great flavour with those taiko drums!!! throughout ,very interesting &efective merge of midiesque sounds with audio vocals . most effective on "grand bancs" imo - having almost the energy and movement of a live performance acheiving a great unique sound, reminding me of some kind of national anthem !!

space-kitch describes it well in all in all ,.. space-kitch hip-hop, while others like Les Annees a bizarrely excellent mix of old fashioned pop harmonies , spoken word , and discotheque !! ... and panpipes ...

listening to this music , you WILL smile ! i never thought it but this music genuinely does SOUND funny in a great way . the sound palette is really quite large yet all the sounds seem to merge together wonderfully on the canvas and the end production is perfecT (yes , to the 56 degree spit trajectory of a T) .

what a gift to be free ,
abs olutely amazing cant recommend enough

lots of different ideas , very creative !would describe it as some kind of new age instrumental folk pop ! Iparticularly liked the choir sounds for some strange reason - in fact i would have even liked to hear a voice on some tracks with the more singable melodies , because there are certainly singable melodies in there ( "harmonise" ," within me without you" !).

my favourite tracks were "time to reflect" {[great choice with the flutey instrument) , "when i find myself" (reminds me what music inside the elevator to heaven would sound like or something!! ] and "drop in the ocean" ( great guitar delay & choir :D)

and of course lovely picture on the cover art

an intriguing listen with great harmoies .

a low sparse piano opening on "place no one known" introducces differnt instruments of the wold which turns into a pleasant composition ,

I thought the mistake on the piano followed by a wollop in "combination" was comedy genius and i literally burst out laughing !! i can imagine a full length LP with quirky details like this could certinly be a joy to listen .

A nice little 'gem of sound' to find on Jamendo!!The little theme of telling a story is a nice touch, You can just imagine a narrator over the top ... "Once upon a time , far far away, in a land time forgot ... " just a bit on the short side , love to hear more !

this is great ! a wonderful idea for an album (people playing instruments they cant) and an interesting subject also . it proves to be quite a challenging listen , and it makes me wonder if the players really are this terrible or they are trying to be slightly 'avant garde' also !!! which kind of covers up their playing skills! good for them i say , and I would have also love to have heard a song where they try to play melodic harmonies and rhythms together with their limited skills , just for a change !

i did enjoy the kind of 'live jam' sessions the most ! it captures the spontaneous energy best . it's kind of like walking down the hallways of music practice rooms in a school! but the effects do add a charming variety to the album .

overall a very unique and delightful treasure to find !!
