as I have been going backwards I wasn't going to write another review but just can't help appreciate this album. though rock isn't my favorite genre this just has some rock-ish pieces at the start but as the album progresses it gets more and more electro with a slight dark feel to it. sooo sophisticated it is hard to say which track I like best but the darkness in 'apathy to the devil' is eerie and fits the decaying beauty in some ancient city scenery. then 'serious acid' is dance-y but with a trippy sublimeness rarely reached. 'Antiseven' is irresistible. I could go on and on. Please please put me on your fan list.
I guess I am working my way backwards with strange zero, and they haven't disappointed me in the least. very professional and beyond reproach. Again I will listen to over and over, this one will be good on headphones and I am sure all your works have subliminal sounds underlying in there making the whole stand out. I luv ya
this deserves a much higher ranking than what it has now at 7 out of 10. I give it 10 out of 10 as to me this is really perfection itself. As an experimental ambient work I can see how this has been well thought and carefully planned over time. Really look forward to your full length album. Sad to think that you will not make more after that, for a long time. It seems a shame as this is the kind of album I will listen to over and over. it is exquisite!!!!
found DJ Fab (Ocean Dream) in another net label a while back and really liked that dramatic soundtrack feel.
Pleased to see this new album which is much longer here. Spectacular music filled with a sense of wonder stirs deep feelings hard to reach without some musical assistance. I do like it when it gets a bit melancholic so my favorite tracks would be 'protect me'. but many tracks are magical and evoke tremendous power. Even the guitar-ish sounds which isn't my favorite effect comes blended superbly. 'through the shadows and the light' has that metallic sound but I was amazed to be able to appreciate what normally is too harsh for my ears. well done DJ Fab, I wanna be your big fan.
don't know if anyone heard of the extinct (1999)German record label Hyperium. This really sounds like something from them, in the heavenly voices arena. love this kind of dark ethereal stuff. It grows on you and the more you listen the deeper it takes you. I want more of this and her unpolished voice sounds so natural. I bet with more singing her voice will mature into a tonal beauty and I hope whoever is writing this musical sound will evolve into something very very superb.
the proof is in the listening
I swear I heard that voice somewhere before, she has such sweetness in it and the songs are well arranged with great heart felt tunes, I liked that slightly Gothic touch in moon child
really nice particularly the first song is inspirational. this can be listened to over and over.
must say this is something of very high standard, a modern-day Satie. I find it hard to choose one track above the others as they all flowed so well together. beautiful!!!!
what a wonderful experience that was listening to this magic carpet that traveled with the melancholy of endless time, yet so modern. And the clever mixture of instruments. this is a cross road in the world of music. It stands out as special and a special thank you for sharing that.
