Silence et Pourriture

A wonderfully curious conjunction of angles and their opposites, 'avec' all relevant positions betwixt each twist and turn. Très intéressant!

noise sound nation - Not In My Noise

Not In My Noise, for me achieves its apparent intention. In fact, the very antithesis of such an anti-posture. An anti-cyclonic whirl of pressure above my head has been lifted. Proof enough for me, and with that, fantastic creativity. Sculpted with passion for the possible.

Much more interesting than watching dough rise. Well kneaded and quite tasty.

Reasonably uneventful, though solid, minimal technicalities. It doesn't pretend to be anything else.

Maximum minimalism! In a way, so far out, audio-visual contact is lost. The form is very long, longer than it actually is. Which is a strange effect. Anyway, like or dislike, it is well sustained, as what I would imagine to be a delicate implementation.

Amazing atmospheric achievements. Good conclusions from noise experimentation.

Conflict

Conflict is, out of necessity perhaps, something that is inherently experimental. I would have liked to hear more innovation and exploration of possibilities to help soothe the inner anguish. For some people war is life. Nun danket alle Gott!

Graindolium - Pissenlit_Intraveineux

Brain manipulation maybe, but how extraordinarily well done! Rather like wandering around, admiring the beauty of a scattered collective consciousness. All the sensitive extremities pick up a particular and general sense simultaneously. Again, as has been suggested elsewhere, this is one of those albums that almost demands a reassessment of all that has previously graced the listening faculties. Superb! A sublime listening experience. Noise experimentation par excellence!

Mapped out very well, capturing a good sense of atmosphere, then and now.

As has been said elsewhere, most definitely not background or 'happy-go-lucky' dancing sounds. The detail is exquisite and through its construction very impressive. If it does not command your attention, the effect is missed totally. If it does, it becomes a very interesting listening experience. Superbly done! Great noise to be put in my head, slots in nicely.

Personal data

In deep now, working my way through the databases, whirling around various nodes in the network, like a subatomic particle in a quivering elliptic orbit, with the odd fellow electron... Pre-apocalyptic: Doris Day, Monroe, Gene Krupa and Buddy Rich, Verdi and Chopin. Post-apocalyptic: Tangerine Dream, Jean-Michel Jarre, Holst, Blondie, Tubeway Army, The Police. Post-hormones: Black Sabbath, Rainbow, Rush. Siouxsie and the Banshees, CRASS, Poison Girls, punk rock. Post-escape: Too many to mention. Jamendo: Read for yourself... And here I paraphrase Gorecki in saying 'I do not choose my (readers). What I mean is, I never write for (them). I think about my audience, but I am not writing for them. I have something to tell them, but the audience must also put a certain effort into it. ... Let every listener choose that which interests him/her. ... That's fine with me. I, too, like certain things.' "Nothing is more characteristic of human nature than to be soothed by sweet modes and disturbed by their opposites...the soul of the universe is united by musical concord..." Plato. My collaborative works are in my tracklist and I have loved every bit of it and the positive responses. Take a look if you like, I highly recommend all the artists in their own right. Enjoy!
