Glad to see you've finally uploaded these tracks!
Dark ambient is a genre I've never really "got". All those weird, slightly disturbing noises, and usual lack of conventional structure. Strange music indeed.
So I guess the best compliment I can give, as someone who doesn't usually like this sort of thing, is that I really liked it! There's a real emotion and rawness conveyed through these soundscapes, which touches you, and makes you take notice. I particularly liked the frenzied climax to "Fear"!

Well, nothing quite prepared me for hearing this on Jamendo. A truly creative piece of music, written and performed by talented muscians. I particularly like the drum programming, and of course PeerGrynt Lobogris's sublime guitar work.
It's raining outside right now as I type this, and your track provides the perfect sonic backdrop! Sublime piano work, and excellent work on the programmed drums, although I do think that the low end could be brought out a little more. A great little track :-)
After being really impressed with Paulo Pavan's first album, I was excited to discover that he was still active and making music. And it seems his craft and skills have only improved with time. While "Inside" was a great album, on of the best I'd found on Jamendo, it felt a little too reserved and at times predictable, not in a bad way, but it was lacking that spark that makes for really vibrant, exciting jazz.
It's superb then to hear this album, which finds Paulo experimenting, taking more risks, and playing with a real, tangible passion. The ensemble he plays with are all musician's with great skill and feel, and they all complement each other perfectly (keep an ear out for the drummer too!) All in all, an excellent collection of pieces, and an album that should be listened to by anyone in search of great, well crafted jazz.
Great album! Music that displays the perfect blend of raw energy and heartfelt emotion, played by talented musicians, which for me defines how prog should be.

Tracing Arcs have a place among the finest artists that I've ever had the pleasure of discovering on Jamendo. It's a rare treat to discover music so beautifully written, performed, and produced.
Inevitably, comparisons with Portishead and Massive Attack are bound to come to mind when listening to any artist playing this sort of music, and the similarities certainly stick here. However, this is far more than a simple carbon copy of a tried and tested formula. Instead, Tracing Arcs have built on the genre, and have made it their own, and for that they deserve recognition.
Highlights of the album for me include "Crytalk" (loving the electric piano work here!), "Through a Glass Darkly" and "Desperate Measures".
Truly a beautiful album that should be heard by anyone who's got the time!
An awesome piece of work, tastefully fusing elements of traditional South American influences with contemporary instrumentation and jazz. Emotional and heartfelt music.
Pretty great stuff. It takes skill to pull off a fusion of styles like this, while still maintaining what's good in both elements and it's only quite rarely that you'll discover a group this good on Jamendo.

Okay so this could be seen as just another technically-minded guitarist releasing just another album full of shred and not soul. It could be...but it's not!
Firstly Steve Allen (if that IS your real name...) is an incredible musician, rivaling fellow guitarists like Joe Satrani, not just in technical ability but in songwriting and musical prowess. This isn't just a chops album; these pieces have a life and vitality about them that makes the album so much more.
Secondly, as the artist and his band (I don't know where they're session guys or an actual band) are very tight. There's never a moment where the music feels like it's dragging or falling apart.
Thirdly, there's variety!! Beginning with a frantic 80s Rock driving opener, and ending with a funky, soulful groover, this album packs a lot into it's mere 6 tracks!
Fourthly, download it! This guy definitely deserves to be recognised!
