The quality of the recording could have been much better, but I believe that the talent and musicianship is quite evident, as is the good interpretation of all the pieces.
Food for thought and fulfilment for the soul. Beautiful work. Thumbs up.
This is a masterpiece. I loved this composition. I don't have any words for it. Beautiful. Thumbs up.
This composition is great. All the parts fall into place to create a nice balanced atmosphere. The rhythm section is doing a great job while the melody fills the place. Thumbs up.
This is a good album. Personally I prefer the the first two tracks i.e. the prelude and the intermezzo which I really think are great. Etosha is more electronically sound based which is not particularly my style, though I find it quite interesting were it catches up from where it started later at the end. I still believe it's a good album and mine is just an opinion which is based on a matter of taste due to my influences. A composition is a creation, an emotion. It is the composer's inner feelings at a particular moment or period of time which is not a matter of alteration. It's a matter of you eihter connect or not at another particular moment or period of time at the time you are listening to it.
Express yourself and let the music flow. Thumbs up.
The melodies are very sweet, relaxing and charming. I really like your works which are in some way related to each other which makes it more of a whole work. Keep it up. You have good ideas which could easily be expanded to larger works.
"Music is my Life, Love & Passion".
I am a student at the Johann Strauss School of Music, Valletta (Malta). I enrolled at the School in 2003 to study Music Theory and later I also took Music Composition. During the same time I also studied both subjects including Piano by taking extra private lessons.
Apart from being a Composer, I am a Drummer, I play the Piano and I am also doing a course in Audio Engineering. I had been a Drummer for almost 20years and I've played gigs and recorded stuff with a number of local musicians and bands which these were mainly in the Rock and Local Metal Underground scene. I came to a point were I decided to further my studies and I had to dedicate most of the time to the Music Theory and Composition studies. I was still playing Drums in my own Recording Studio, but without any real band commitments until a band made up of mature talented musicians came along and I could not refuse the offer. As a band we are going through classic numbers with Jazz, Blues and Rock elements.
The musical styles that run through my veins are on a wide range of spectrum. These include Classical, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Metal and many of the in-betweens. Influences as such there are a lot to mention all, but to name a few these are such as:
Composers:
Beethoven, John Williams and Alan Silvestri;
Bands/Artists:
Miles Davis, Buddy Rich,Eva Cassidy, The Yardbirds, Eric Clapton, Cream, Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Rush, Queen, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Goo Goo Dolls and Counting Crows.
