I personally am a fan of crossing metal and celtic concepts within a genre, so naturally I checked this out.
The instrumentation is absolutely fantastic. The only clear issue is mastering - the quality is poor, but I give you credit because you're talented, and this is your first release. I can barely hear the bass, and everything in the mix in general is very unbalanced.
The singer's voice is beautiful, but I can't understand your English... Don't you think you might fare better singing your native tongue? And I must agree with a past reviewer in stating that the female-fronted opera-like singing has been done to hell... but with a little work it would be fantastic regardless.
I do look forward to hearing more - I hope you're able to improve upon your sound as you get more experience.
Brad Sucks all right, but in a damn good way...
A very mellow but groovy album.. Everything I have to say has been said before so I'll keep it short.
It's a fantastic album, and if you ever find yourself down my way in the USA, I'll be sure to check out your show.
This has to be my favorite album on Jamendo so far. I like, how others have said, that you don't completely rip off another band's style. Points of View has a varying sound but you can pull it off well. I liked the use of piano in Six Feet Under.
The mixing and production quality is near professional level, which is very impressive for a first album. There is always room for improvement though. I personally think the vocals were a bit too far back in the mix, behind the instruments in general.
Overall it was a great album, I'll definitely check out any new music you put out.
I was pretty stunned when I came across this - it's a rare occasion that I find decent industrial-sounding music on Jamendo, at least so far...
The first track was a great opening, and had a good steady beat and great synth rhythm. I loved your use of guitars as well. Although there was a drastic change in mood by the second track, the flow remains intact.
I also applaud you in keeping your track length down, for the most part. Many electronic/industrial tracks on this site get drawn out way too far.
A very good album, I look forward to listening to your later work.
