Digital Memories

I'm really liking this. I suppose I could analyze it a bit and pick apart the reasons why, but I'd rather just enjoy it, if that makes sense.
It's well done, listenable and fun. Sometimes it's even beautiful. That should always be enough

Definitely rock with good playing and vocals, catchy songs with some lyrical wit. But what makes it stand out for me is an odd sort of kicked-back quality even though the music is fairly high energy.
Hard to define, but very easy to like.

Good catchy dance songs in a dark vein, elements of darkwave and synthpop with good production. I like it.

This is more than a great goth rock album. It is great music that withstands the test of playing it many times over the months. Listen it through once to get the feel of it, and there's almost certain to be some songs that can be favourites for you. Good diversity while keeping a definite "identity",

The Loomers - Reeling Down A Road

It is just wrong on too many levels that an album this good has so few reviews. It's great good-time rock with a classic Americana flavour. "Hit the ground running" and "Dust it off" are great stuff that would be on the top ten on radio stations in a more perfect world.

Great album, great band.

Where to start? Well, if there were any flaws at all to the recording and etc, I don't hear them. This is highly engaging music, and simply superb. It's not just the guitar, the rest of the composition is all top notch as well.

Every musician or band will have some memorable moments, where it feels like they really said something and it sticks in your head. This is an album where pretty much every moment of it is memorable. I don't feel there was a dull or cliche moment in it.

But words are not going to be able to explain this. You just have to listen.

Roger Subirana Mata - Shedneryan

This is just amazing. Roger Subirana is always great, but the quality and scope of this piece is really just beyond words.

10, but only because there isn't an 11.

Personally, I think more of Gershon Kingsley in 1969 for the song Popcorn than Hot butter's version in 72. BUT!! That was then, this is now.

Do NOT pass this over, thinking it is perhaps a simple cover of an early electronica piece. This is quite an excellent and original piece of music by Dom The Bear. While it uses some sounds that are dynamically similar to the vintage synth piece, this is new. Fun, massive, infectious.

Too good for me to rate at less than a 10.

Brilliant, as usual. Great songs, beautifully done, excellent wit to the lyrics.

I'd been wondering if we would hear more from this band. Seeing this album up was one of the best moments of my day! Great tunes, lots of talent, biting wit, splendid guitar work, excellent drums and rhythms..

Oh heck, this is just a really great band, so listen to it, ok?

Personal data

Musician and music lover, but I'm not a music critic. Before anyone comments that I tend to give a lot of high ratings, remember that if I hadn't liked it a lot I wouldn't be writing a review in the first place. I enjoy many kinds of music, and I'm finding a lot to like here.
