The average MIDI file sounds as good.

Fortadelis - Ephemeris

This album is a must for anyone who likes ambient new age music. A rich full sound with great use of the stereo sound stage. Truly professional work.

Zzjmc's early albums are pleasant to listen to but lacked something.

His more recent releases like Outvaders and Stratosfear show good development. The sound is tighter, cleaner and shows more emotional expression.

This album has made it onto my chill-out listening shelf.

An initial skim through this album makes me think of The Alan Parsons Project especially the first track. I will download this album and give it a serious listen before posting a review. I like what I have heard so far.

Genuine Irish flavored blues from a battle hardened veterans.

About half of the tracks are quite energetic, the other half have a nice laid back groove. On the whole the album has a mellow and very pleasant sound.

My favorite track is Ride On. I feel it has a bit of a Latin influence to it.

The last track, County Down, drove the Irish cheer home with a nice jig.

Unfortunately I live in the wrong hemisphere to see them live. Their show must be a whole lot of fun.

This takes me back to my teenage years. I can picture my buddies sitting in a dark room with only a candle for light and a pile of early 70's psychedelic rock albums.

The Precious Band capture the essence of that era perfectly. Listening to their music I hear reminders of the Moody Blues, David Bowie, Lou Reed and The Beatles.

If you like this album you really must get all three in the Baroque series.

A mind bending blast from the past :-)

This album has nice open and laid back clean guitar sound. The drumming is light and refreshing. Occasional use is made of mouth organ.

Lead singer Evelyn has a lovely voice but it sounds like all the band members are called on to assist with the singing. Some of the tracks have lovely harmonies.

A nice selection of songs with plenty of variety keep the music fresh.

The sound quality on this album is excellent.

Recommended!

The album listenable but has little variety between the tracks and the tracks are repetitive.

The cover artwork is great but it hinted a dark and heavy album. The music turned out to be quite light (for metal) and melodic.

A pleasant and relaxing album with tracks varying from soft rock to folk. It is a pity that seems to be the last album that will be released by the duo.

An acoustic folk album with touches of blues, jazz and Latin rhythms. The singers voice sounds a bit like Cat Power but with a higher pitch. At times there are also hints of Dolores O'Riordan in the way she modulates her voice.

I found the album even more enjoyable on the second listen and it is now one of my favorites.
